cute. i would advise though, on the 1st one to warn agesnst raw edges. between the "sew fabric to hips part" sugest that they fold the top piece under to make a neet seam, and then sew threw the 2 pieces to seal the seam and not have a raw edge. raw edges will look really yucky after a few washes.

aslo a certant lace would be a good sugestion. child hood with a mom who likes to thow kids in the pool has taught me some lace gets itchy when wet.
