Clinging to the creature with her claws, she lifted Rumple up over the jaws of the feind and set her donw on the creatures back.
"Rumple, attack the base of the skull."
She asked of the moogle, swinging herself off of the creatures back to get its attention. Landing on the ground she had to tumble slightly to avoid getting hit by the creatures claws, but was up in an instant and dug her lance head into the creatures leg.

She didnt bother to run off, she didnt want to throw Rumple anymore than nessicary. Instead she set to the task of dodgeing and cutting into the behemoth, mostly trying to wear the creature down.

Getting annoyed with the creatures want to kill them, the Ronso woman dodged a few more of its attacks before getting in close, seeing the feind slowly getting woosy was he que to get in and down it. Jumping over its tail and pushing its claws out of the way, Shamari get just under its leg and got ready.

Bracing herself with a good stance, Shamari hooked the behemoths ankel with the scythe part of her lace and began to pull, attempting to trip the creature. As she pulled, the newly sharpened blade of the scythe began to cut into the flesh of the feind. If it wasnt going to fall, it was going to lose a foot, she would see to that.

Shmarai kept her focus on the task she had set to herself, pulling harder untill the scythe blade hit the bone of the creatures ankle. She could hear what Rumple was doing as the moogle blocked the headbutt that was headed toward her, and was thankful though she didnt show it.

It was the scilence of the drums that caught the Ronso off guard for a second, causing her to look around and break focus. If it hadnt been for Rumples yell, she would have gotten caught in the flames, but again the moogle aided her escape.

Jumping up she let go of her lance and pulled the gunblade from its sheath, weilding it in both hands as she came down. She wasnt worried about the lance that got caught in the flames, the shaft was made of a type of steel. Holding the blade steady she buried it into the neck of the Behemoth, going for the quick kill on this thing.

((Sorry for the long pauses. Things have been happening alot recently.))

Landing hard she took but a moment to look up at the creature as it thrashed before bashing away to pick up her lance. Getting out of the way of the creature she held the gunblade in her right hand, and snatched up the lance with her left. Making sure to be out of the way when the creature fell, her next concern was Rumple, she didnt even see the object that came crashing down untill it had hit.

Getting thrown by the impact of the object, Shamari laid face down in the dirt for a moment before getting up sluggishly and shaking off. Looking around in a simi-daze, she tried to figure out what happened.
"Rumple! Where are you?"
She called through the smoke. Sheathing her gunblade, she used the Lance shaft as a wakling stick and started forward to find the moogle.

Shamari was poking around some of the rubble around the beast, looking for any sign of life from the moogle as she prayed Rumple was alright. Lifting the arm of the creature with a struggle she heard the shifting of the trees and bushes and Rumple came into view. Dropping the arm she rushed over to her and slid to a stop.

After Rumple fell down, the Ronso only smiled slightly and shook her head. Putting away the two halves of her lacne, Shamari picked up Rumple in one arm and took a look back at the Behemoth. Growling at the dead body, she started off away from the creature as fast as she could, leaping into a run.

Dodging the branches and bushes, she made easy work of cutting through the forest. Pausing suddenly she took a look around the forest and took a moment to catch her breath. Pulling down some of the branches and leave from teh trees, she set Rumple down in the makeshift bed before she took a seat next to her in an indian style.

Shamari nodded at what Rumple said, hearing it, but not really registering what the words were meaning. She was physically tired, but her mind was racing at what happened, what to do now, and what to do when they got to the next step. This train of thought was only interupted when the people showed themselves from the trees. She was very weary about them, but she didnt get up right away.

She would have been up in a heart beat had her lance or gunblade been on hand at the moment. Unfortunatly with both put away, she was in no position to grab at them. These people could have weapons aimed at them looking for a move like that. Instead she sat with her arms and legs crossed and looked up to what she could only guess was the leader. But she kept a good eye on Rumple too.

When the Behemoth horn was passed to Rumple, and the people bowing, she stood up and looked down at all of them, her hand sliding to the weapons hilt just in case. After observing them she looked down to Rumple and the horn she held, a look of confusion on her face as this played out.

it was strange as the masked pygmies took them to their camp. they were very strange creatures but they welcomed them like honored guest lighting a huge fire as nightfall came and dancing about as a feast was laid in front of them.

rumple tucked in admittedly and filed her belly, then some tribesmen came over placing feathers in her hay and painting on her face. at first she felt uneasy about it but soon relaxed. the tribes man then spoke out.

"we know that a war is coming. gaia can feel it and we to feel its strain. two tribes from both sides of the great lake will wage a war causing destruction and chaos. warriors such as yourself will be needed to try to end it"
