long time no talk ^_^

anywho. heres whats on the low-down.

-- my last day of work is 15 september (next friday.. rawk on!). i cant believe that i put it down on the calendar back in april & its next week already!

-- i get a call from josh once or twice a week (for the past 2 1/2 months.. a toss-up between sunday, monday, and tuesday).. he's doing good. every month he's like "i dont wanna play marine anymore!".

-- they come back the first week of october (meaning only two weeks of REAL time to myself.. no work, etc). but IM ******** THRILLED.

-- this past weekend, i put down our plane tickets ... we officially leave hawaii on 27 October to sacramento. we're gonna stay with his aunt/uncle until we get our SUV there. we're sending my car to boston.

-- we're taking a cross-country roadtrip. portland (to see my sister), seattle (to see two of my friends & one of his friends), las vegas (his relative), texas (his relatives), iowa (to see my ex), virginia (his relatives), and our destination is boston for christmas.

-- so uma.. if you still live in baltimore (im guessing), get in contact with me & just maybe we'll see you in december, if it works out.

-- i know, i know.. you guys might be thinking "why in the ********' hell are you going all the way from texas to iowa to see your ex?!". believe me when i say this.. aaron has been the most support ive had throughout this deployment. he & josh met at the coffeeshop once back in january & they're cool with each other. he asks about josh & everything. my friends here.. don't. for the past 6 months, i felt like they wanted me to be around with them to kill off boredom. so aaron is planning to take us to his & his girlfriend's favorite pizza place & maybe a night of drinking.

-- OOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHH. you guys know how much im a wrestling fan right? well, ill be missing a u2 concert in december (pearl jam is opening for them). so yeah, one night, i stayed up to watch a law & order movie caz wrestling was right after that (12:45 am). anyways, there was one commerical that got me crying right away. the WWE & ECW is coming here. i FREAKED out caz i knew i was gonna miss it. i screamed (and didnt care what time it was & who was asleep in the complex) when the last screen of the commerical said "October 20th"... meaning the friday before josh wanted to leave. He called the next morning & I asked him if I could go.. he said buy him a ticket & we'll make a date out of it. I cried. Again. He doesn't like wrestling, but he went with me last Sept/Oct just caz he wanted to be with me.

i'm glad he will be coming back home, that's fantastic.. and you seem to have yourself a trip all planned out, and sounds like it's going to be a fun time..

Awww Jenn, I was thinking about you and I am so very glad that you posted and gave us this nice update. I am so happy that you and Josh will be together soon, that is awesome. I know how hard it is to be apart from the one you love. Well that is fantastic to contemplate your road trip, wow, it sounds like a fabulous trip! December is a weird month for me because a lot of it I won't be in Baltimore, I will be in Nashville probably. I need to spend time with my mom, seems like she is getting old suddenly, it's so strange. Anyhow not sure if I will be around but let me know the date you might be passing by.

I am happy you get to see your wrestling event, that totally made me smile!! biggrin
