I have one that has taken me years to see for what it was.

When I was in High school, My (Now Ex) boyfriend and I had been together for over two years, and I was sure that the two of us were going to be together forever. We had plans even then to get married and leave the city we were in, start our own life. He was a year and a half older than me, and in college.
In college he got into the party scene and the drinking followed quickly after. He cheated on me three times with a girl he had met. She was older and could get him all the alcohol he wanted, and when he got drunk, he wasn't such a single person man anymore.
I became friends with the girl he cheated on me with, and we did all sorts of things to sneak me into the college dorms. (You had to be 18 to get in, or have parental consent, and that was NOT going to happen, as my family hated him and I wasn't even supposed to see him.)
Finally she couldn't stand the deceit anymore. She didn't like that our friendship was based on lies. That day she cornered me outside away from the boys (both of us had bf by then, he had played match maker and hooked her up with his best friend(who turned out to be a total looser and con artist, but that's a different story)) and told me one day when I was down at the college with them that she and him had slept together.
Needless to say I was broken up and my hear was broken. I sat down on the electric box that was in this open courtyard, and when he came out, she told him that she had told me. Fear flashed in his eyes as he looked over to me to see my reaction.
He wanted to talk about it, I was too hurt and in too much pain, so I walked away from him. He didn't want to be put off that easily, so he followed. That just made me angry at him, before that I had just been hurt and heartbroken. He kept following me, So I jumped, caught a branch of the pine tree, and was up near the top in a few moments.
He stood down at the bottom of the tree and looked up at me, being taller and wider and not as agile as I am, he couldn't make it up to where I was. He stood at the bottom of the tree for quite some time, neither of us saying a word.
I was seriously considering leaving him at that moment. I looked at the peaceful clouds drifting in the sky, and whispered a prayer to the Goddess to show me what I should do. I looked down and saw that he was walking away, giving me my space.
The next moment, a little sparrow with a red tuft of feathers on it's crown and chest landed not two feet away from my face, in a nearby branch. I looked at the little creature, and smiled despite myself. I asked the little bird if I should stay with him, and the little bird tilted his head and looked at me questioningly. I smiled again, the bird chirped and flew off.
I looked at the bird as he flew away, wondering if that meant yes, or that I was supposed to fly free. Not a very clear sign.
If it had been a Hawk (my guide animal) then I would have known, but this was a very odd happening that I didn't quite understand.
After several hours up high in the tree (I was four or five stories up there, I could tell because it wasn't far from the dorms, which were seven stories high, and there are rows of windows on each floor.) I climbed down and stretched myself out.
We all walked down the path that lead to the swimming pool (that was the original plan, to go swimming) in silence. Outside the door, the girl (not really my friend so much anymore, obviously) told us to hug each other, and in a moment we were both crying and hugging and saying we were sorry.
We were together two and a half more years, in which time, I conceived his child, a little boy who is an air element. I'm sure it was him in that little bird's body that day, telling me that if I didn't stay with his would be father, that he wouldn't be born. I'm convinced that is what he was trying to convey with that little turn of the head that had seemed so full of questioning way back then. He was asking me "Well, do you want me to be born or not?" Turns out I'm not going to be with my ex forever and live haply ever after with him as I had planned, but there was a reason for us to be together; our son.

I dunno if it's really magickal, but I know it was a sixth sense kind of thing..

Around winter time last year (mind you I was in a different city, at Job Corp) I suddenly, sometime early in the morning, I had this strange sense that I needed to call home, like something happened and I wanted to know what, and I was afraid something happened specifically to my sister.. <<;

And this seriously bothered me all day and it wouldnt leave me alone, and I tried talking to my friend Justin Erikson about it, cause he has a bit of a sixth sense about him too and the likes, and he told me that it may be nothing but if I would feel better about it to give hom a call.

So I called home that night when I was able to and talked to my mom and she was like, "Well.. now that's weird cause there was a false bomb scare at your sister's school"

@.@ I was like jaw drop to the floor kind of thing cause it spooked me out a bit.

Ooohh ya!

I dont know, I believe things happen for a reason, I believe that, to a certain extant, fate does play a hand in everyone's life, whether you choose to go with it or not, is up to you..

But anyways! Another thing that happened to me was shortly after I moved out of my mom's house and out onto my own, and after being a retard and breaking up with one girl to go back to another, and then just to have a repeat break up happen, one night I was up extremely late for some reason, unable to get sleepy at all, and I was watching a movie on my TV and playing on Yahoo roleplaying with my Kachie character!

Well my character was turned into a slave and yada yada, and I was in the user rooms in the slave one and then this other girl character bought mine up!

I knew from the get go there was something different coming from this girl, like a different vibe, or a sense of I knew this wasnt going to be the same as every other person I encountered as an RP buddy.

Anyways, so it went on for a few months as just RP nothing else, no Out of character chit chatting, except once when she was super stressed, but that was it!

Then one night when we were roleplaying she suddenly came at me out of character and asked me a question, and then we got to talking, all night, and we laughed and joked around and told some real life stories of things that happened to us! We were talking at each other like we knew each other for forever!

Well, after that we did start talking more and more otuside of our RP, and we got to become closer, and would you have it! (I'm totally serious on this too) The next thing we knew we were planning to meet! She came all the down from Canada and we met at the mall on a Friday or Saturday morning, and we practically fell for eachother so fast we didnt know what to do..

Well that was nearly two years ago now, and we've been pretty close ever since. She's been here three times, and I dont know what I'd do without her, I feel such a strong connection to her, and I know she's different from anyone else I ever met or anyone else I'll ever meet in the future.

What do you think of this? Do you think it's fate, or coincidence, cause I still ponder this

It makes sense that a panther would be the animal you see, for it symbolises the regaining of one's powers, as well as protection, and finding information. It is probably a sprit animal or a protective force that is guiding you.
The only reason I know this off the top of my head is because I had begun seeing a big black panther also-right after the break up between my baby's father and I. After I broke up I dove back into my studys-partaly to distract myself from the pain and partialy to get back in touch with who I am-and I learned a lot and grew quite a bit spiritualy in the last five months. The first time I saw my panther I was supprised and I swore that it was real; it was that vivid.
Seeing the panther could be a sign that the spirits are supporting you and are behind you in your decision to persue the knowlage that you are gaining. It could also be a sign that they are protecting you from some other force. Either way it is a good thing. I wouldn't be afraid of it or worried about it, just acknowlage it when you see it with a word of thanks or a nod if your around people, and it will probably be pleased. ^_^
