Kaleb thought that if he ever did visit their castle, he would have to see the library for himself. "The institute where I trained had a large library too, and I didn't even have access to half of it. All the advanced material is restricted to licensed individuals."

"I havent gone looking around ours completely. There's this one section where the lights are broken and the books look really old so i dont really want to touch them"
Plus that section of the libary creeped her out so she wasnt going anywhere near it anyway

Kaleb had spent enough time in libraries in the evening to know how frightening they could get when everything was silent and dark. "I probably wouldn't go where the lights are broken either," he said, tracing the edge of his book with one finger. He wasn't about to admit he was afraid of the dark, it would be horribly embarassing.

"I want to get someone to fix them but everyone else kinda avoids the libary." She was kinda pissed about that but one day someone would listen. "Hopefully whoever came took care of it before will come back and then there will be lights"

"Maybe I could show you this light spell sometime, and then you wouldn't have to wait." Kaleb suggested hesitantly, he wasn't sure he would be willing to go somewhere dark and creepy just to fix the lights. He would certainly need someone to go with him and keep him from turning around and forgetting about it.

She liked the idea of the little glowing balls and since it was something Kaleb said he learned as a basic then she could probably figure it out too

Kaleb smiled. "Did you want me to try and show you the spell now? I-I'm not sure what methods you would prefer to learn, but I could try..." He fidgeted a bit with his paws, and chewed on his lower lip before briefly glancing over at Nonet.

Kaleb nodded, that sounded like a fair enough place to start. "When I cast the spell, the first thing I do is form a loose ball of magical energy where I want the globe to appear. Then I condense it while adding more energy and visualizing the additional energy being dispelled as light. The basic spell form requires a continual input of energy to sustain the glow, so when you stop giving it energy it will just vanish."

She though about what he said for a few minuets. "So ..... i think i get it." Though she could be wrong but it didnt sound all that confusing. "It dosent sound too hard ..." She wasnt sure she wanted to try it after trying to make the fog eariler. She didnt want to over work herself

Kaleb smiled. "It really isn't too difficult. After seeing you make that fog cloud, I'm sure you'll be able to make light just fine." He glanced over at her books. "One of those books probably has the simple light spell in it, now that I think about it."
