Yamibakura03 hello everyone. got what it takes to stabd up for your rights. each week or two ill post a topic. anyone can come and express what you think and so forth. people must respect others decison so no fighting used your words caustiouly. thats settled. today's topic. do you considered gothic to be held responsible for against religion? many parents are concern about their children and many think gothic is a way to satanism or other things. tell me your opinion of it. Beleive me parents do not have to worry about there children turning to Satanism, beleive me I am a satanist. There kids are only looking for a way to express themselves and if this is the only way so they turn to it foer comfort.

I think parents worry too much. Although they are likly just trying to watch out for you, it can get in the way. So when a parent sees the child dressing all different and all they kinda over react to more things, like whats going to happen to their religion.

So when a parent sees the child dressing all different and all they kinda over react to more things, like whats going to happen to their religion. I agree, parents can really ovverreact. When i started wearing black my mom totally freaked out and my cousin has never looked at me the same. The same is to religion, children need to explore and find the religion thats right for them. It makes me sick that so many parents make up their minds about their children's religion at an early age. It's like pushing a religion on someone because you liek it and not because the kids like it. They deserve to have a choice. they deserve not to be brainwashed into thinking only one particular religion is the best one and the right one. I'm personally lucky becuase my parents never forced me to worship their religion (My dad's catholic and my mom's protestant) and they never tried to impose their religious beliefs on me. Thanks to them I can choose any religion I want and I can believe what ever I want until I find the religion (or lack there of) thats right for me.

And I must add that it has nothing to do with religion. You can be christian, buddhist, muslim or statanist or jew or anything and still be goth.
