Remember, remember the 5th of November. Gunpowder, treason and plot.

Yes, guys and gals, today is Bonfire Night in Britain, the night where we have all of our fireworks displays, bonfires and other such merriment. I myself went to a celebration last night, with fireworks to music, very good it was too.

If anyone wants to find out about this holiday of ours, feel free to visit THIS PAGE. It details traditions, the origins of the celebrations and such. Although many things, such as having a Guy, or even a bonfire, aren't celebrated in many areas anymore, it is still done. Great holiday if you like fireworks, similar to America's 4th of July I would imagine.

Yes, we learned about that holiday in school too. I didn't know it was such fun though.

I never heard of it myself, but I think I'll read up on it once I'm finished this other crap for work I'm doing. Blagh.

It almost seems coincidental that I developed a pressing need to watch "V for Vendetta" at the very 5th of November, a movie I previously never thought of watching.

A night and a bonfire are among the best things you can put together into a single merry celebration.

People learned about our holiday for history? Cool! Everyone here knows the backstory to it, its ingrained in our minds. Makes for an interesting read though.
