So who is going to stay up and watch the new year come in? Will you eat the traditional dinner?
Traditional dinner:
Greens (collards) for money
Black eyed Peas for health
Fat back (stricked meat) for prosparity.

Most likely be up for the countdown, though most likely I'll forget about the actual countdown until 1am.
Not sure on the dinner bit. I never heard of that tradition before now.

I was over the road at a new years party drinking vodka and coke, nice.

My dinner was sauerkraut and bratwurst, chili, and amazing cheese dips and spinach dips.
Few bottles of champagne, of vodka, couple cases of beer, big ole bowl of jungle juice.

I didn't realize New Years hit until 12:06pm, so I was a little closer to actually seeing it happen this year.
Willowbark and I didn't do too much. We played a variation of M:tG with her sister and her spouse called 'The Tower' until about 2am. Then I received a call from a discombobulated friend that was about 37 minutes in length. It was quite amusing.

i was up to see it come in this year, actually did something for once too.. went to a little party that a few of todd's friends were having.. drank way to much, as did he, and got me some kisses and stuff.. yeah it was fun.. i usually never do the tradional dinner thing.. dad use to do it every year, and every year we get no wealth and stuff so he said screw it..

Feels the same to me so far. Though I easily lose track of what day of the week it is, so that's no surprise to me.

Feels like I'm in a new year to me. Mainly because I'm haunted by the fact I have exams this month.
