i noticed most of it comes from the first person
shooter community, i play the fighting/rpg/mmo's
on 360, and hardly anyone acts like that ;
atleast the part of the community i know.
i'm friends with all guys, and none of them
have acted that way towards me.
i guess you have to get used to it in games
like that. xD;

yah i think ppl get more aggressive in Shooters because it is them actualy directly controling the chacacture and there is few restaints in those battles.

Shooters such as RainbowSix, Ghost Recon, and Call of Duty. Also games like Saint's Row.

Also, I would like to point out that it's not just the males.
I've had quite a few girls, whom I have never played before, call me a slut or a whore in a game.

most of the guys who play xbox live do that beacuse they can't get real life girl friends and they mostly reject them on xbox live and then the screw up and lose the game. i see it alot. i have about 6 girls on my friends list i treat them with respect and i cant understand why other guys are always like that. i play MLG. and i have a girl on my team. i have never been rude to her.

i dont know why u guys are gagging on the FPS people. thats me crying . no but it is true i can get pretty into it doing the game but after words in the lobby i cool down, relax and beat the other team again. XD but if any girls out there want to play... i be nice for u biggrin

tektektektek i dont know why u guys are gagging on the FPS people. Because it's true. I love the FPS genre. Been my favorite since I was 7 playing Doom 2. But what I hate is people just spreading nonsense. Like this one time in Halo 3, the team beat me and a friend of mine and they said, "Oh, you should be ashamed for yourselves." Yeah, ashamed that we don't play Halo 24/7. Yeah, we're total losers alright. rolleyes
