These ships and space stations were designed by the Mirai to be manufactured by the Terrans for their own forces. While more advanced than most previous Terran vessels, they still do not possess the latest and greatest Mirai technology. Furthermore, while they are all armed, this armament possesses little strength and is meant to be more defensive in nature, particularly against smaller vessels, such as pirate ships. It is also specifically designed not to pose a threat to large capital ships.

C.S.C. weapons technology is based off of Mirai anti-energy and particle beam weaponry. The Shield-overload beam is a low-yield coherent particle beam, designed to be fired potentially indefinitely. The idea behind it is that the beam could be used to take down an attackers shields and sensors, as well as point defense against missiles. That way, the ship could flee.

Another interesting design feature of C.S.C. vessels is their lack of hyperdrives. They still have FTL through Mirai-designed warp drives.

History/Description: The Waystation is a orbital space station designed to be built in orbit over a planet of interest. In particular, it was designed so that CSC surface-to-orbit transports can make regular cargo pick-ups from the surface and the Waystation then holds the cargo to be relayed to an interstellar transport.

History/Description: This is the primary scientific and exploratory vessel of the CSC and also the largest and most heavily armed. However, the primary feature of this vessel is its two Modular Bays that open outward to space (the two ribbed, blue sections of the outer hull are the bay doors). Each bay can be fitted with a number of different compartments holding equipment, supplies, and crew quarters. Theoretically this system could be used in the future to augment the ship's weapons systems.
