Kaleb yawned immediately after Riley, and had to keep himself from giving his partner a glare for yawning first and making him feel sleepy again. "I'm fine," he insisted, letting his head rest against the pillows for a minute.

"Are not" He yawned again and rolled over onto his side. Rufus was going to have a fit when he realized his Turk was feathered now. They'd have to get him new suits too.

"Am too," he argued unconvincingly, yawning again as he set his half-finished apple aside and closed his eyes. He shouldn't be tired again, not when he had napped all morning, but the change had probably taken more out of him than he had first thought.

"Are too." He shifted so he could fit on the bed better and grinned at his partner. "So just nap and get over it until ya feel better."

"Am not." Kaleb insisted. "But I'll nap if it... if it makes you feel better." He yawned half way through, and snuggled against the pillows, taking one from near the top of the pile to hug. It didn't put as much strain on his wings that way.

"It'd make me feel better if ya didn't hurt at all." But Kaleb seemed to have wanted whatever was done to him even if he didn't like the after affects.

Kaleb didn't reply, it was too easy to remember that he wasn't the only one paying for this. "I-I'm sorry..." he said, burrowing his face in his pillow to shut out the light and try to comfort himself enough to sleep for a bit.

"Just get better." He reached up and ruffled Kaleb's hair. "Then i can stop worryin." And then Rufus would stop asking him questions

The affectionate gesture was enough to reassure the little mage. "O-okay..." He sighed into the pillow and relaxed, letting himself drift off to sleep for another long nap.
