i could tell you loads if you want to know, i'm scottish and live in scotland.
here's some:
in scotland the main football league is called the SPL (scottish premier league) before teams go into the SPL they are in division thre, then they work their way up into division two, then division one until they reach the SPL.
the 2 rival teams that most people support are called the Glasgow Rangers (also called rangers, the teddy bears[after their mascot] RFC) and Celtic Football Club (aka the bhoys, CFC) i support rangers
3nodding if you search this stuff on the internet, you might come across some stuff to do with religion, that's because a long time ago, a lot of people who liked celtic were roman catholic, and people who supported rangers were protestant. a lot of rivalry was there and it was really messy and bad, so if you find anything like that don't pay attention to it
some of the other teams i can name off the top of my head are aberdeen, hibernian, hearts of midlothian(they get called hearts), inverness caledonian thistle(they get called cally thistle)... as for the scottish national team, we're the best XDD we get called the tartan army, and the mascot's a lion.
blaugh and about the rules, to be honest i dont know much about that. but i know its not like american football where they pretty much attack each other for the ball.
