The day was sullen, and gray. Rain looked to be right on the horizion. It had been a long time comming, the Death of King, lead of the Royal Flush. This man, this hero had been bed-ridden for years now, only being able to live thinks to technology. But, he finally punched his ticket. Cars rolled into the Metro City Graveyard, the place where many of the cities people had been burried after the VILLIAN company took over. Now many were here to honor a true hero, a man who had given so much to save the people who knew little about him.
King was very much a man, but he was blessed with bones of steel, and a heart of gold. He grew up in the slums of Metro, always seeing the evil in the land, and hardly seeing the light. When he was still quite young he came into his power, and from then on he dedicated himself to helping others. No matter the cause, saving a kittne in a tree, or rushing into burning buildings, King did it all. Though many knew him as King, it was a far greater few that knew him as Eric Munich.
By the time he was a meer seventeen, Eric had formed the gang Royal Flush. It started out with Five; Bartalby Seisure aka Jack. Eliza Rinalds, aka Queen. Gill Martin as Ace, and the wayward Tom Sawyer aka Joker.
This rag tag bunch teamed up to wipe out the criminal infestation. And, for the most part they succeeded, until VILLIAN CORP came to town. The crim skyrocketed, and VILIIAN left the blame to the gang called Royal Flush. Those who were once claimed heroes where now labeld evil doers, and the cause of everyones strife.
Three years after that was when King became ill. A woman he had loved, had turned out to be working for VILLIAN, and had steadily poisned him, leaving his bones of steel, to wither. He became a shell of a man, bed-ridden and slowly dying.
Thus this day was reached, his funeral. The day was his twenty-third birthday, and those who attended, none cried more then the gang. Queen, Ace, Jack, and Joker all stood at the monalith that trumpited their friend. All cried, except two. Joker and Ace, looked down, hatred clean on their faces. They knew that others had given up hope, but they would not.
Turning to Ace, Joker said to him, "We need SD, we cannot hide anymore brother."
