Lost_Kingdom Heh, turned out meditation was a baaaad idea; Tuned in, and BOOM! suddenly there's the funky feeling of static in the air and the high pitched sound (you know, the type that you get when yer TV channel doesn't broadcast crap and only shows that colorful circle thingy....or when you hold a mike too close to the speaker.) Forgive my cursing, but damn, that was one hellish night I spent yeah....same here... crying i was tuning in and i started feeling weird... tuned in and ..o gods..it was awful...the static thing, to much different kind of energy at once, and i started felling dizzy and almost fain... yeah...it was a really reeeeeeeeeaaaaally bad night...

Well I just haven't been able to meditate at all lately.. My concentration flies all over and my brain won't shut up and the staticky buzzing thing happens to me too... Which night did you two try to meditate? I usually Dream Walk, but lately I've actually been dreaming and remembering them stressed All either nightmares or really weird marshmallow-and-candy-corn-men dreams... I finally meditated for like fifteen minutes after sitting in the rain for an hour a few nights ago, and it seemed like all the plants and insects and birds around me were screaming for the rain...

Okay, so I'm into Tarot reading--not as a telling-the-future kind of thing, either. I think personal readings (i.e. Seeking advice for an upcoming event or help on a difficult situation) are just a way of tapping into primal energy in your subconscious spirit, and more general readings (like to help with big problems that're affecting more than just you) are a combination of primal energy and help from spirits/deities to take the right interpretation from the combination of cards...
Well, last night I got my deck out, and I distilled some rose water a few days ago (the roses around my town are starting to wilt and there're a ton of rose petals everywhere, plus there was a mild storm and it blew off more petals), so I got those and cast a circle and lit incense and rubbed rose water all over me, and went into a meditative semi-trance (which took a while because I'm used to either being completely in a trance where my body doesn't even work or being awake). I did a reading while I was in the half-trance and wrote down what came up.. When I finished, I'd been outside an hour and was freezing and felt like I'd only been sitting down for five minutes stressed
Anyways, here are my translated (it was dark except for a single tealight candle and I was barely watching what my hand was doing, so I had to come in and translate by my limited memory and instinct because I couldn't read individual words) notes--with what each card drawn is supposed to indicate for anyone who'se not familiar with this type of reading or just for people like me who haven't memorized it ^.^ Oh yeah, I put the name of the card, then the book's symbolism of the card, then the meaning and relevance that I pulled straight from my subconscious
(Question, thing I was trying to find) Explain the occurances of late; tornadoes, car wrecks, anger, bad energy

Querent (the card that represents the subject of the reading--in this case, the world and spirits and people): 2 of Wands

So, what I got from all that is that the world's pissed because humanity is destroying it, and--since Spring and Summer are the time for change, renewal, and rebirth--it's attempting to change things.
Does anyone else do any other kind of divination that could try to find out more?

Oh yeah.. And the other day when we had the "mild storm" that I mentioned... Well, all over the rest of North East Texas it was a raging mad storm.. My boyfriend saw on the news that there were at least 7 major tornadoes within a 100-mile radius of here, and a dozen more recorded minor tornados; and somebody's doing research on unreported areas, because there could've been another two dozen unreported tornadoes...
Oh! And y'know about the bald eages only being able to have one hatchling a year for the past who-knows-how-long because of the pesticides and stuff making their eggs brittle? Well my boyfriend also saw on the news (He was in a waiting room for like three hours with nothing to watch but the news while waiting on a job interview, lol) that a bald eagle had three hatchlings at once recently!! I'm so happy whee
