Well, I was wondering what your opinions on this would be...
When I was fairly young, I used to lose small toys and things quite often... then when I'd be looking for them, sometimes they'd seem to drop in front of me onto the floor from nowhere. Obviously I was only a kid and my memories are not in any way foolproof, but I used to think that something was borrowing them then returning them to me when they'd finished with them... who or what this something would be I never really knew 3nodding
Haha, rationally thinking it was most likely me not seeing the thing till I was on top of it then thinking "ooh this wasn't here before!", but I rather like the idea that I had when I was young about there being something mysterious there borrowing my things... it's quite a nice thought! Anyone had experiences with this kind of thing? What do you think?
Also, a few other strange things used to happen. Once I was playing with a group of friends and my bro upstairs in our house, and suddenly we heard this deep booming laughter coming from what was then the spare bedroom/ study. We of course ran downstairs whee We all heard it, not just me, but I doubt they remember it now. It brought to mind images of an ogre or something, that kind of booming voice. I was (again!) young at the time, maybe around 9years old, possibly younger.
This is the last story of mine I swear!! A few years later I moved into that spare bedroom while my room was being painted. Dad said I could have his alarm clock, which I really liked (it was a wind-up one called "Big Ben" and had an alarm). I was lying in there reading one day and it started to make really strange clanking and clanging noises, non-stop! I ran out completely freaked out, and when I got back it had stopped. My parents said it was probably being affected by the weather or some lame excuse like that, so I left it in there. A while later it happened again. I tried to ignore it but it just got louder and kept going, and I got a strange feeling in my stomach that I get when things like that freak me out. It happened once more again before I gave it back to my Dad because it scared me so much. Never before or after that did it make those noises, my brother currently has it in his room I think (this happened over ten years ago now).
Strange eh?! That room is now a bathroom, and I am no longer afraid to be in there when I'm home lol! Our house isn't particularly old and it doesn't have any strange history that I know of. I don't think anyone else in my family have had any experiences like these either, unless they just haven't told me about them. I'll have to ask!

well, i've also seen or lived some strange things.... like...
My dad mom died when my dad and my uncles and aunts were just kids and they have always "felt" my granny was with them, all the time and even more when i was born (first grandchild from both sides of my family). Examples.
i DO remember when i was just a bab, my mom and i were all alone in the house and i was sitting in the playard (? i thinks that's how they are called in english) facing the closet doors playing with my plushies, then my mom told me she hear me saying "hello" a couple of time, by the third she turned around and i was 1.- out of the playard, 2.-behind her sitting in the floor. now i remember somebody lifting me, and taking me out of the playard. i could get out of ther e my self cause i could barely stand up. i remember it was a woman the one who took me out of there but i cant remember the face.
another one, in my grandpa's house (same house) the doors always open and close by them selves, you CAN hear really clearly that somebody is sweeping the floor even when you know you're the only person in the house, the light turn on and off ((and theres nothing wrong whit the cables because you can actually see the buttun turn on and off!! its kinda scary the first time) and when you are watching T.V the channels change. (i didnt belives this last one until i was seeing tv with the remote in my hand and i SAW the buttons getting press by themselves!))
another one, still related to my granny ((gods do i love that woman!!!)) when i was like...3 years one of my cousins born , then in Christmas that year they took it to my granny's house ((yea...same house! lol)) and they covered my cousin with a baby-blue blanket, when they arrived they tok the blanket off cause it was not neede, by the end of the night half my family was looking for that blanket, and.... till today...it hasn't been found. ok..maybe i'm boring you but, i'll like to tell the other ones i have.. since i'm the first born its something like...tradition in my family (boht sides mom and dad) that the first born takes care of EVERYTHING in the family (like reunion, when somebodys sick you go and take care of them, blablabla and specially if you are a girl) now, i've technically raised my 2 little cousins (both girls) and once , i was baby sitting the older one (the other did not existed back then) in their house when i hear her laughing and playing with somebody , so ofcours ei freaked out and went to her room to see what was going on, when i entered the room i saw her alone. i asked her who she was talking to and she didn't answered she just looked at the closet. i smiled to her and tell her " come on princess, who's your friend?" gods did i freaked out when she answered "mama chita" ((that's how my aunts, uncles, my father and technically everybody called my grand mother ) i was like...shocked and at the same time happy, so the only thing i said (while looking at the closet was " granny please take care of Cami while i go dowstairs". gods that really freaked me out, cause,,,i mean, i was the only one who actually met my grandma ((yea well..i waslike 2 month old when she died so i can't remember her like that)). NOw when her little sister was born once again i practically raised that kid, so once i took them from school to their house and baby-sited them. once again, i heard one of the laughing, the smallest one. she was at my aunt room laughing and playing...when i asked who she was playing whom she didn knew how to answer, then she saw photo my aunt has of my grand ma and told me "it's her its her!!" i grabed te photo and asked her " is this the one you are playing with?" and she just smiled and said " yes"
i do have more but i'm afraid of boring you so....maybe i'll post some other of my experiences later.... well... as you can see, my grandma is the main character of those stories... sooo...what do you think?

Minako Blackrose well, i've also seen or lived some strange things.... like... Oooh that's really interesting! Not boring at all!! It's lovely to think that your granny is still around, watching over the family 3nodding though I think it would scare me a little bit sometimes! She sounds like a really nice person, and she obviously loves children! Your stories made me smile 3nodding

(hiding my things or making the light go out when i have friends at home) lol... but everytime that happens i just say " ha-ha-ha very funny granny..." and everything gets back to normal... then i laugh....i actually scared my mother once cause she was like " who are you talking to?" and i was like " em..my grand ma whoelse?" she went into a complete shock..lol..that was like 2 weeks ago.

A lot of weird things have happened to me as I grew up, and still happen today. The earliest thing I remember was the mirror at the end of our hallway. My older siblings (I was the third of my mom's kids, and my dad's first kid) made my little brother and I run down the hallway to turn on the light at the switch, about halfway down. The mirror always scared us. I don't remember it very clearly, but I think something would be there, looking at us. The mirror broke sometime when i was young, and I didn't have to worry about that, though I still hate seeing mirrors at night.
I'm going to make my own thread for the weird things that have happened to me. There's too much to list in here.
