I don't think it was as bad as the other ones, but it was still awful.

JNC20 The movie was good. Who here cryed after harry's godfather died? I did. crying I got wet eyed, but, he said 'Good going James' or something like that before he died to Harry. besides this, The Dark lord/Headmaster fight was what I loved. But I kept getting hit by people beside me because under my breath, I was whispering how it was nothing like the book.

I have only two things negative to say about the movie, aside from what we all know- that it does not follow the book. The movies never really do... First- Umbridge sucked eggs. I like the actress on her own, but she made a horrible Umbridge, and she was not at all what the book described. Toad-faced, the book said. Not like she could be anyone's grandmother. There are a lot of actors who are not what one would picture from the books, like Moody and his eye that was not supposed to be strapped to his head... And the Weasly twins who were supposed to be short and stocck but are actually tall and rather thin, but the casting of Umbridge was the worst casting that has happened so far. She did not fit the character described in the books in even the slightest way. I spent the whole movie thinking she was bad for the role. two- And this has stood for every one of the five films so far- I think every time a new director is hired, they should be made to sit and watch the ones that came before the one they are filming. There is far too much that was not continuous. I don't think the whomping willow had been in the same place twice. There are just a million and one things that are a continuity problem, and they all could have been avoided if someone had watched the movie previous to thiers. I know casting and continuity seem like such small things, but they really do take a large toll on the overall outcome of the film.

I agree with you on the second point, but I think Umbridge could have been a lot worse off. True, she didn't have the right face for it, but she did a good job of making a lot of people despise her being.
