Rhichi here with an important announcement regarding discussions/RPs/whatevers about Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. In an attempt to reduce (or hopefully eliminate) the amount of premature spoilers for DH, there are going to be a few rules placed into effect, starting immediately. They may seem rather harsh, but I know from experience how painful it can be to unsuspectingly stumble upon spoilers before you finish reading the book.
1. From now until Saturday, July 28, NO MORE THREADS shall be made about the 7th book. This includes making discussion/reaction threads, creating or modifying RPs to coincide with new Year 7 canon (because yes, we do know that many people die in the 7th book), or making polls on existing threads about the book.
2. After July 28, you may start creating threads/RPs/posts/freakouts about DH. HOWEVER, they must contain a warning in the title stating DH SPOILERS, or just DH if the whole thing doesn't fit.
3. Though this is optional, it would be a great idea for you to place any spoilers in white text, just in case somebody accidentally clicks your link by accident.
4. Though we can't really regulate this, we would greatly GREATLY appreciate if you didn't put spoilers in your sig/profile/journal for the first week, most importantly the sig since everyone can see that.
Anyone found not complying with these rules will be placed under the Cruciatus Curse. Thankies!

It's been over a year since HP & the Deathly Hallows was released. Is it really necessary to still give spoiler alerts for posts in relation to it? confused
