I was curious about this, after thinking about another thread here. I wanted to know, what was it that led you to discover that you were gay or bi. And while we're at it, when did you discover you were uke or (for those few that are here) seme?
I can't really answer my first question myself, seeing as how... well... ahem...
But as for being an uke, I guess it would be when I first RPed as Andrew Laye (not here) and discovered how shy and vaulnerable I felt and was, and how much I wanted someone else to be sort of my "protector." I'm very dependant in matters of the heart. 3nodding

I'm not sure what life I realized it.... I'v been sleeping around for a lot of lifes.... one time my friend tanya called me a old gay f**>.< Mostly though she just calls old man or slut but thats bisides the point sweatdrop Ether way I can't remember when I realized I was gay..... I know how I know I'm an uki though. Whenever I sleep with a guy I gotta fight for top, one time though I was told its cus I'm bad at top>.> I didn't really like hearing that though and hopfully that wasn't the reason they all had....

what led me to discover i was Gay was probably when, i dunno, i would fool around with my best friend. Not to mention when i read/view Shounen-ai/Yaoi and gay hentai and all that. Im turned on. That rarely happens with regular..whatever...girls..> >...< <...> >...i like men! heart ......Any ways...ive allways been alittle "over affectionate" with guys...
with the Seme/Uke thing...im both actually. Where as i like being on bottom alot, i also enjoy top. Dominant and Submissive here! most the time i can tend to come off as uke...i assure you, things arent as they seem, you know? I would love an uke to make mine...then agian, i would love a seme to smack me around....lol! xd heart ...arg, sry i tend to rant. Well, I kinda wrote this in another post already, but...
I went to a summer singing camp just before high school and one of the counselor was... really hot and really cool, but they were my gender. So that got me thinking on the subject, which I did a lot, until school started. Then, after the first few months of school, I got another crush of a homosexual nature. Since then, (I'm 16 and 1/2 now) I've mulled over it and decided that I like both girls and guy as eye candy ( redface ), but I really am only attracted to my crush of 3 years.
As for the uke part... well... I act a lot more... "motherly" than most of my other friends (guys and girls). Also, I'm always afraid to make a move on my friend. I want them to like me first. In other words, I'm not so aggressive. I also tend to relate to the ukes in anime MUCH more often than the semes... sweatdrop

Heh... for me it started when I was in fourth grade actually... People kept calling me gay, and I began to wonder if I actually was... then when I was thirteen I saw my first porn video... and I got turned on by the guys and not the girls... Then, when I got into high school gym class this year... @_@ The guys in the changing room were so hot I had to hide my boner!!! I knew for a while that I was gay.. but before that I thought I was bi... that changed...
I have never had sex before... well, I think I haven't... there may have been... I do not want to talk about it... Anyway, I know I am uke because I just love the idead of a guy....*drool* Nevermind... I am short.... People might think I am seme because of the way I dress though....

Honestly, I'm not sure if I'm bi or not. I'll say a girl is hot and I'll be a little touchy with her, but when I think about a relationship with a girl it doesn't seem right, at least to me. On top of that, every crush I've had was with a guy. Then again I've never really had a relationship. I'm usually just really cuddly/possesive with a guy but we'll never hook up. I'm just an incredibly strange person I suppose. sweatdrop
I discovered I'm a seme type person when everyone I ever came close to having a relationship with I was usually in control, and loved it. I'm the kind of person who pins you down, gives you major hickies, bit marks, very very touchy feely and a little bit... possesive.

Well, I discovered I was bi when I started to like this other guy at school, but I still liked girls as well. I also found my Gym teacher this year very hot, he's young, asian, and muscular. *drools* I didn't want it at first, but now I'm comfy with it, so I'm good. I figure I'm a uke too. I blush a lot, I have a need for a protecter, and I love shopping. But I guess I'm not really sure 'cause I'm a virgin, so I'll figure it out when the time comes. ^_^ Although I am most likely uke, hyper and crazy as hell too!! Plus, I'm not a very dominant person, I don't like to be in control, not at all. I tend to do what people tell me to do, without question, unless it's something I don't feel like doing, then I'll get all sarcastic and annoyed. At the moment, I think my school needs more seme's, all the ones there I don't like. One is freakier than me and the other talks funny, and yes, there is only two.

Umm. Well. Sadly I dont think I ever had a girlfriend. I think at one time I did like a girl, but I really cant remember if I dated her or not. When I was about in the 8th grade or so, my friend and I use to hang over each other alot, always together, and he always had his arm around my waist or something. When we went out or something, we just use to hang on each other alot, in a friendly way I suppose. One day, I got really drunk at a party, and we were just laying around and stuff, then someone said we should make out. So without thinking, we just kind of did. And, strangly, me and him liked it alot. I guess thats when I knew that I was gay. Me and him dated on and off after that, but he claims to be only bi, but I think hes just shy about it.
About being uke. redface Well. Im kind of still a virgin and stuff. RPing and just messing around, is a different story, but irl, still a happy little virgin. Im naturally shy, so in RPs its hard to play as a seme, because I dont know how to act and stuff, so being the submissive one is easier for me. I guess Im kind of a uke type guy irl too. I dont mind being submissive to someone, because dominating guys are freaking hot. ^^

Well, I first knew I was gay when I realized that Naked women were evrywhere in my house, even as a little kid, and I'd just blow them off! but one time, there was a pic of a naked woman with a naked man, andhe turned me on! I started looking around about that stuff. Lo and Behold, I love men!

Hmm, where to start...I use to like girls when I was young, thinking it was the only way to go. I went out with 10 girls btu I never really felt anything from them. When I was in 2nd, yes 2nd, grade I just started looking at the guys in my class differently...I also had lustful images about them... redface .....I never really thought about it, just went with it but never telling anyone till the summer before 8th grade! I told two friends over the summer, I was scared of what they might think. But they loved it! xd So I became more open about it and started telling ALL my friends, including the guys. They were cool with it, also! But I told one friend and another girl over heard it and now everyone in the 8th grade knows I'm gay, some in 7th, a little in 6th as well. So I guess I'm popular! xd But now a s**t load of people know so I guess I "came out of the closet" but not with my family... Anyways! When I was 10 I had a friend living across the street. Up until about a little over half a year ago, I was asexual and aphilial, didn't have interest in people at all really. Then my sister introduced me to a friend of hers, AkuronoOka, he was some interesting blend between shy and forward, blushing and such between sitting on my lap and kissing, hugging, etc. It was the first time I ever felt desire for anyone. So, rather than going to subtle route, which I'm not known for, I just started to claim him as mine, until he finally tried to drag "I love you" out of me, which I finally caved and said, much as I didn't want to, or feel comfortable with, but eh. That's when I figured out I might be gay, but I'd had a crush on a girl once before, but it didn't go beyond a crush, so I'm guessing that I'm homosexual but biphilial.
Being Seme just came naturally to me, I am totally calm, laid back, unless someone threatens me or mine, at which point I become extremely possessive, controlling, dominant, and aggressive.

Oh, the faithful, faithful day that I discovered that I liked men... Good times, good times...
I believe I was in... 6th, maybe 7th grade... I'm not sure, but it was around there... I was sitting there in my fourth hour, looking out the window. It was a hot day, around 80-ish; you know, one of those days where it's a crime to have school on. Anyway, I was looking out the window, and there were these guys having a water balloon fight in the court yard. My guess was that they were in high school (my school is a middle/high school). And I was like 'Hey, this is amusing. I'll watch them cream each other with these things.' So I watched... and their shirts started clinging to their bodies. And then I started getting a hard-on. In the middle of my math class. How awkward.
After that incident, I started getting curious. I'd never really had a crush on any girl, so I kinda kept the matter to myself for a bit. Well, one thing led to another, and I found out a year or two later that I'm a flaming homo. Yay. surprised
As for uke/seme, I'm a virgin, so I don't really know, but either sounds appealing to me.
