In the deep reaches of Larue's Candy Store's cash register there is an old leather journal with a worn cover. This journal has been in the Kazoo for generations, and the pages are worn with writing from hundreds of years ago. If you turn to teh most recent pages, though, you'll find cheerful curly writing and tons of notes and absent doodles.
Larue possesses this ancient journal now, and has filled its pages with her babbling.

Alice is probably the nicest person I've met in Canthry so far. ^^ She's a squirrel, and is hyper like me! Whoo! She was with me when 'that' happened, and I met up with her again in my new candy store.

~~ Entry One~~
I've been feeling really down in the dumps lately.
I know I should be happy about the opening of the shop, but lately all I see is the work. I need some workers.
I've never felt this sad before, and I can't really figure out why. So, fighting depression. Yeah. But I can still be a bit cheerful.
I still haven't found a place to live yet, so sleeping in the shop will have to do for now.
Hmm.
