Who do you think is the Best Anime Character that has ever been created? I mean, hands-down. Ever. Tell me who it is and why you think he/she is the best. If you can't come up with one, tell me your top 3.
For me, best character, hands-down, is L Lawliet from Death Note. He's the most original character in the world and it is hard not to love him.
If i had to have a top 3, it would be:
1. L
2. Edward Elric
3. Between Mello aka Mihael Keehl and Lieutenant Colonel Hughes

Muraki from Yami no Matsuei is actually my favorite character. To me, he is the perfect bad guy. A very reasonable personality until he goes stark raving mad with hate that is show not in manner but in sadism.

L 3. fumoffu mugen and spike are the same XD (i like 'em both, but they're pretty much the same) always had a fondness for Ed (Cowboy Bebop) Kenshin of course i like. hmmmmmmmmmmm there was someone else.......

In terms of development I can't say, but I guess my favourite characters would have to be Kenshin, or Alucard (British sub, he's such a bad a**).
