"飞轮海"是华氏温度计FAHRENHEIT英文的中译名，也就是代表由四位大男生组成的"飞轮海"，就彷佛是由春、夏、秋及冬四季组成的团体，也一如四季有温暖、炎热、凉爽及酷冷的四季，四位团员是来自加拿大的辰亦儒代表着 WARM，汪东城代表HOT,来自汶莱的吴尊则是代表COOL，而尚在大学新闻系就读的炎亚纶，就是酷寒COLD的代表。
