As everyone knows, the original Kratos was a woman. I thought it over. Had that stuck, King Leonidas would have had a fitting wife!
Okay, on a serious note, would anyone really like this game had it went in that direction. Personally, I would probably still like the game, but I love Kratos as the charater he is. What do you think?

I think it would either make the bathouse mini game disturbing, or interesting. Seriously. Though it may change the game drastically, or it may just stay the same. What if female Kratos was just as brutal and routhless? Would it make much of a difference? Also what if they stuck with the idea of giving Kratos a puppy? Or a baby? Theres alot of "what if's" about god of war when you think about it.

Yeah. I have thought about how it might have been. I wouldn't mind seeing the female Kratos, just love Kratos as is, but I would probably be saying it vice versa had it been set that way.
One thing though, I never thought that his voice was done by the guy who plays Kyle on Living Single. I thought that was great. I haven't played God of War II since I got it and beat it. So, I am just now thinking about all that since I am playing through God of War I and II on my vacation.
I think it was good they didn't do the dog thing though. I mean, I liked that for A Bard's Tale, but I don't think it would work in God of War.

What do you think? WTF are you talking about? On the bonus disc from God of War II, it was stated that the original idea of Kratos was female.

Actually, the REALLY original Kratos was part of greek mythology http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CratosIn short, he was a blind servant of Zeus, who would follow his orders without question, and punish those that defied him. The complete opposite of the Kratos we all know and love.

wheres the fun in that? Its just not the same without angry, violent, disobendiant, anger managment Kratos! If they made the game acurate we all know what would happen. We'd all get sick of zeus bossin' us around, and wish we got to kill him. But wouldnt! No fun.. at all.

I would still be ok if kratos was a woman except but I think they decided to go with a man because it would be easier
