Hey ya'll, I want to see what we all think in the sword/gun standpoint. I'll post my argument for the sword factor in a bit. So, what say you?

Well, you know, loud bangs are cool, but shiny pointy things win. That's about the extent of my opinion on these kind of matters.

What about the traditional bow and sword-tipped arrow?
That's like both of them.
Still polearms are cool, swords are secondary weapons in my book, but they do have their place

I'm gonna hafta stick with guns.
They're deadlier and easier to wield.
Preferably a rifle with a scope, or a triple-burst assault rifle.
Swords are nice but... unless you know how to wield them... You're toast.
And if you're slow, someone can shoot you dead quick.

Well, that brings up my point. Swords take skill and discipline to use. So, if you can wield a sword, then those skills can be put to use in your normal life. With the swords, you actually haveta know what your doing and such. I think guns are lame cuz any one who has never picked one up can kill without any skill. Don't get me wrong, guns are useful and cool, especially assault rifles (if I had a gun, that would be what I had), but personally, I'm a swordsmen.
However, anyone know where to get good air soft guns?

Guns are very effective, but I agree, swords....so much cooler. Hey konnor, how's this one look for ya?

Geez, what the heck is with you and 68 inch swords?!

You have to have accuracy and aim. You have to snipe...
You have to know where vitals are.
And with some guns, you have to get used to the kick and the loudness.
By the way, have you ever used a sword to defend yourself?
Hmmm?In the real world, you use guns.

Swords are nice things to hang on the wall. Short-range combat = Death.
Guns are nice to shoot targets with and for defense.
Also for long-range combat.
I don't really like katanas because everyone else thinks they're SOOO awesome.
