Once upon a time, long long ago...
That's how all stories start... right?
That's how the fairy tales are told ... right?
Many Eons ago, in the Land of Wayward, the world was at peace and there was a calm. Until the Golden Sun rose. The peace between the Elements began to waver as creatures of the dark began to rise from the depths that they were once sealed in.
The man behind all of this is the man who had harbored a great hate against all of mankind ever since he was a child. For the reason that because the Golden Sun was sealed away, his hometown soon slowly began to freeze over and become a permanent winter wonderland. His heart became as cold as the world that he grew up in.
And now, he plans on revenge.
By wrecking the world as we know of it.
By summoning up what was once sealed away for the good of the world.
Now, four unwilling travelers are thrust into this world of the unknown, drawing upon their latent powers and save the world. A journey of the heart, the mind and the soul. A journey that is wrought with terror, and bloodshed. But also a journey of friendship and a journey of life, a journey of healing, and a journey of destruction.
From the tiny town of Vale, the earthquake that symbolized the beginning of the possible end to the great serpent's awakening to Izumo. The world is changing. And it is up to those who have been chosen by fate to either save the world that they know....
Or let it crumble away.

1.No Mary-Sues/ Gary-Lues (I'm pretty sure that's obvious...)
2. No Cybering or anything lovely like that please. In other words. Keep it PG-13.
3. Super Powers? Fine. However, stick to your elements. I don't want Fire Adepts running around with water spells.
4. Swearing is fine, nothing too much though ok?
5. Try to stay away from one liners. I can understand writer's block, but do it too much and I'll warn you about being lazy or somethin'. I'm going to put it at a minimum of five sentences of Roleplaying per post. If you've got a problem with that, talk to me about it, I can teach you a couple of tricks to keep your posts interesting.
6. Write the following words on your bio before posting it here. "Silent Protagonist" to prove that you've read all the rules including the ones after this one.
7. Try to keep OoCing to a minimum and please use a marker for it please? I.E. (<<--->>), ((<<--->>)), {<<--->>}, ooc//, ooc||, ooc;;, etc...if you don't know what's going on since you've been gone, feel free to PM me and I'll give you a quick synopsis.
8. I'd prefer it if you knew the rules of the literacy. You use proper grammar and spelling to the best of your ability, you don't take the easy way out and use *'s to indicate action. I like it when people use punctuation, as well. Tick me off on this, rule and you'll get a warning, do it again and you'll be awarded with a spot on the black list. If you don't like this rule, then I suggest you look for a different RP. I'm VERY a**l about things like this.
9. PM me your profile. I don't care if you want to be a cannon, an original or the Ghost of Dullahan himself. PM me your profile or you WILL be ignored and on my bad side.
9.5. Alrighty. Romance. ... Fight for them. You normally don't find a guy out on the streets and he falls in love with you and vice versa. Let's keep this real. However, please send me the person that you are interested in in your bio so I can keep things straight.
9.75. More than one character. Alright, here's another thing I'm a bit a**l about. I expect the same from the secondary character as the main one. If you want to play one of the guys, feel free to tell me and I'll give you the slot. But please, no one liners or anything that you wouldn't do for your own character.
10. I am God. I reserve the right to smite, smote, fry, burn, kill, maim, change, destroy, obliterate, castrate, gouge, trample, or turkey cutter anyone that I deem has broken these axioms stated above. Got a problem with that? PM me and we can settle it like civil people, don't and it's to the black list.
11. Roleplay applications will be screened by me. Please understand that I want this RP to be showcased as something that you had spent your time and want to do. I don't really want it to be something slip shoddy that you had slapped together. Please, I beg of all of you, put some consideration to your characters and how they develop.
12. Weapons. I will be allowing weapons in this RP since this IS during a time of crisis. BUT Please let your weapons be ah... reasonable? I really don't want to have to see your character being perfect at every weapon that they pick up. Unless they're a genius or something, that normally doesn't happen. If anyone has questions on weapons during this time period and what is accepted and what is not, feel free to PM me and I'll answer whatever questions you have.
13. Got a character that you want to couple with that's not on the list given? PM me and I'll incorporate the character of your choice. I'm open to any and all suggestions for the RP to keep things interesting. Don't be afraid to PM or note me or IM me! I swear I don't bite!

The one who had stolen one of the great sacred stars of the elements from Mt. Aleph. He knows nothing but hate and sorrow from the way he was brought up. Jaejoong is a young man filled with nothing but a passion to thaw out his home and a deep rooted hatred for those who sealed away the Golden Sun so that his dear hometown slowly froze to the permanent cold and barren land that it once was. A man who has nothing but hate, he is feared by many for his abilities with the Mars element, the original element that his town was blessed with.

Biography:
The young man who is chosen by the Wise One within the depths of Mt. Aleph during the great Earthquake that shook the world into awakening of the destiny that awaited it from the beginning. Headstrong and a born leader, he begrudgingly takes on the monumental task of saving the world by harnessing the power of the Earth element itself. Along with his childhood friends and the other travelers that are willing to aid him on his quest.

Biography:
From the southern reaches of the world, Yoochun is a benevolent healer who controls the water element. Sympathetic and emotional, he is a gentle character who wants nothing more to find peace in this world once again. He is one to turn to when in a depressed mood as he will listen to anyone's woes and offer some soothing advice. He views everyone in the group almost as if they were all his younger or older siblings, an open character who is willing to trust from the very bottom of his heart.

Biography:
A strange character indeed. He is guarded strongly by the mayor for he is regarded as the "destined child". No one truly knows who his parents are, for he dropped from the sky to the town. His odd mannerisms and his lilting accent give away that he is definitely a stranger to the whole continent of Angara. He has the innate ability to control the wind and lighting as well as read minds, though, he does not like to show those skills off. Quite by nature and a bit timid, he is a kind and gentle soul who wishes no harm to those of whom he comes into contact with.
