I"m here, here's a new forum to prove it!!!

And I had an idea recently and thought I'd share it with whoever's here. I don't know if a similar program has already be created, but since the soldiers in Iraq are going to be there for at least a little while longer, I thought that there should be a penpal program with them. We could write letters to the soldiers to distract them from the war and lift their spirits. I don't know if we would have to go through the army or government or anything, but I thought it would be cool if soldiers could have something cheerful tying them back home. What do you all think?

And I just want to add that school starts in 2 days for me, and so I don't know how often during the week I'll be able to get on, but I definitely will on the weekends, at least once. As often as I can.

I don't know how we would do it, or how we would get it started, but we could always go through the army. Send it to military, then have them send them over to Iraq with shipments, or political leaders, or something. Then have them dispersed from there. And we obviously couldn't get letters to soldiers in a war zone, or out scouting, or anything, but whenever they get off duty. I think it should be looked into though, so we would know exactly what we were getting into, and how things would work.
