Type of Game: Fantasy, Action, Comedy, Romance
After hundreds of years of persecution from the Untapped humans, William Gygax, known as the most powerful Tapped human and even stronger than the Races in all history, started an academy for the Tapped and Races in 1792. Gygax was powerful enough that he could completely conceal the school, for he had the majority of abilities- abjuration, conjuration, illusion, divination evocation, enchantment, and transmutation, where as the majority of Tapped and Races had only one or two of these.
It’s August, and the year is 2010, and William Gygax Academy is still open, although now thought to be a school for the brilliant and privileged, which is why several spoiled, bratty, rich children have been turned away. The Academy, as known to the pupils, is both a safe haven and a serious teaching facility. All the attendants are in by scholarships according to the government, but it is the government after all, so what would they know? The William Gygax Academy was built on privately owned land in rural England, although, nowadays, most of the students are foreigners from other countries.
The school year has begun, the classes will soon start, and students from the ages 11-17 are being settled in their dorms. What strange events will unfold this year?
ONE MONTH EARLIER
It’s mid July, and school is starting soon, with only a few weeks left to blow off. One day, you get a package in the mail, and it’s the same yearly package they send every year. Inside is a thick plastic bound book with the words ‘Student Handbook’ written on the front. You decide to open it and read it.

Hello, and welcome to William Gygax Academy, the boarding school for the Tapped and the Races. This is your student handbook, and it will guide you through your experience at The Academy.

You read a little about the school former before you reach the table of contents, which you ignore. You flip a few pages to find what the abilities are, and a summary of each….although they are all horribly optimistic and most definitely looks as if it were meant for those with serious humor malfunctions and little children.
Seeming as you have an ability, you must want to know more about it! Now, each is equally as powerful as the next, so the rumors of some are most definitely false. Let’s take a look at them, shall we?
Abjuration- this intriguing ability provides the carrier of it to cast powerful protection upon others, items, or even themselves! This is a purely defensive ability, and it is most definitely a necessity.
Conjuration- this ability grants the carrier the gift of summoning of…well…just about everything! From your fuzzy pink slippers to a magical beast to aid you to a Tylenol for that headache, conjuration is just the thing to get you out of a jam! (Or to get you some)
Divination- this mysteriously unique ability is stimulating to the brain…and current gossip! –At this, you let out a snort like laugh- the carriers can predict the future, find the hidden things(or lost ones), and even learn long lost secrets! This helps the carrier detect their opponent’s intentions.
Enchantment- a very rare ability to come by, enchantment is very exclusive in its powers! One with this ability can influence the thinking and behavior of those around them!
Evocation- this is very exotic! A carrier of this ability can manipulate energy or tap unseen sources of energy to produce a desired end. In essence… you can create something out of nothing!
Illusion- this deceiving yet striking ability is truly fiendish! With it, you can deceive the senses and minds of others.
Invocation- invoke the powers of the basic elements with this nifty power! Now that’s a way to get the garden done!
Necromancy- Often mistaken among human cultures to be evil, it is actually quite benign. While you can manipulate the powers of the dead and unliving, you can also invoke massive healing and save many people- including yourself!
Transmutation- Also known as transfiguration, this shifty ability can change the properties of some creature, thing or condition! A great way to make the school’s boiled broccoli taste like chocolate, as well as that mean person into a fuzzy gerbil!
You breathe a sigh of relief, thanking that the ordeal of the schools is over, and you move on to the general rules.
Now a school wouldn’t work without rules, so here are some basic ones to keep every one safe and happy! ‘Yeah…right…’ you say, sarcastically.
1) No means of bodily harm to any student or teacher is tolerated out side of the Duel Room.
2) School uniforms-here, you remember to buy uniforms- are to worn until dinner on Mon, Wed and Fri, except during duels, and until first dueling hour during Tues and Thurs. Uniforms are not required over weekends.
3) No flying, floating, flaming, or any other means of using your abilities to travel faster in corridors.
4) Girls stay in girl’s dorms, and boys in boys.
5) No PDA WHATSOEVER.
You laugh at the last few, for these are hardly followed. And only the dormitory rule is the rule you really worry getting caught at, so you move on, quickly, skipping a few words here and there.
6) Girls…lavatories…boy’s lavatories…
7) Respect the skeletons…easily breakable… wouldn’t want… dracoliches…eat you…
Don’t touch…cook hates to …pot…food is not gross when…
You don’t pay attention to the rest, and flip through the book. You find a description of dormitory set ups.
Dormitories
BE SAFE! The dormitories co-ed, but any room violations will be punishable by the Caretaker and their choice of punishment, which has little boundaries.
1) Rooms each have four living spaces, and a bathroom.
2) All students must be residing in their respective genders rooms (FEMALES IN FEMALE ROOMS, AND VICE VERSA!).
3) Students must reside in recommended age groups

You don’t pay attention to the rest, and set down the book. You pick up a list of the schedules that was in your package, and read it.

You flip through a few more pages of worthless info before coming across the uniform requirements.

Men must be in white button down shirts
Ladies must wear white button down shirts
Bottoms
Men may where either khaki, navy blue, or black slacks
Ladies may where either khaki, navy blue or a red or green plaid skirt
Socks
Men may wear dark socks
Ladies may wear dark or white socks or knee highs of any color
Shoes
No sandals, heels, tennis shoes, temporary hooves, temporary claws (unless other wise specified) or bare feet
Other
Men must always be in a red tie, and must wear a Navy blue blazer with school emblem
Ladies cannot wear more that 2 of any jewelry at a time and no heavy make up
Ladies may have tie and blazer, if desired
No visible tattoos
After reading this, you scan through everything else, finding nothing of any initial worth or value except your new half-moon necklace, which will guarantee you passage into the school, which you immediately put on so that you don’t lose it.

Hi. Just sos ya know...im REALLy picky. hehehe. And, i take a very long time to say very simple things...SUMIMASEN!!!! >.<

I deeply encourage you to make the biography part of your Character at least 5 sentences long. After all, the biography is your characters life story. This does not, however, mean that characters of other players know your own character’s biography, just the player themselves. You may reveal more about your characters past to players as the game progresses, although I believe it is both childish and stupid to make it up as you go, but that’s just me. I like to play with players who have thoroughly developed characters. The biography can also include things that the character doesn’t even know about him self, but it’s in there simply for the fact to say that that’s what happened.
Rules
1) OCC/OOC comments must either be made in double parentheses [((…))] or under a subtitle that says OOC (or OCC if you prefer). If you choose the latter method to start your posts, it is requested you re-enter character mode under another subtitle that says ICC.
2) This rule is in addition to the one above. Never make a bland post. Such as- “He sat down, sulking over his girlfriend’s comments.” Say something at least halfway decent. “He sat down upon the soft grass, which was growing greener as spring came closer, and he watched the clouds curiously, pondering the words his girlfriend abruptly shouted to him.”
3) NO godmoding. If my posts seem to do that, I apologize. Say this is typed: "The brilliantly colored hazy wave formed into an imperial dragon before hitting him." This means that the attacks power turned into a dragon shaped form before coming close enough to harm him, so he can either dodge, find away to block or even get hit by the blast in order to make the game more interesting.
5) This is not an adult game (much less website), but you may use mild suggestive themes, mild sexual comments, drug and alcohol use, violence, blood, gore and limited use of profanity (don’t use the F word every other sentence). This means: if two of you plan to have your characters sleep together, or even if it just randomly happens, MILD hardcore stuff (that includes character homosexuality....Robin isn’t going to start dating Batman, much less bang him, okay?). Say:"...and they slipped into bed together for the night, enjoying it tremendously." I will tolerate some hardcore, such as limited fondling and intense kissing and sensations. (Yes- that might sound very cheesy and a bit weird but I’m not taking any super risks that might lose me my game, because I worked hard on it.)

Alias: A lot of the kids at the Academy refer to her as ‘Bit,’ simply because her name is superstitious among the school student body to cause bad luck because of her defiling behavior. The members of her clique call her several things. The younger girls call her either Onesan, for older sister, or Kagura-san. But most call her Kagura-chan. Some of the older guys call her Kana-san, for little sister, although a few don’t exactly think of her as a sister.
Race: Half-demon
Age: 16
Year: 10th
Abilities: Her main ability is transmutation, although she has a knack for necromancy and conjuration.
Height: 5’7”
Dorm: 6
Body Structure: She’s very lean, and impressively strong. Her curvaceous and desirable figure among the school boys, although only a select few in her clique have ventured to do anything about it.
Casual Appearance: She wears some black eyeliner, but other than that she refuses anything cosmetic. Also, every thing in the picture is acurate, except the hair and ears. Its short, and black with the same aquamarine tint and she has very pointed ears, as well as fanged canine teeth
Weapons: She sports a pair of gloves that release long, slashing spikes she punches with. She carries a pair of daggers, in which one blade curves from the handle and slits over the back of the fist, and the other is jagged. She’s also very good at improvising for weapons.
Biography: After skating through several foster homes, she finally became homeless at age 14, her delinquent nature coming forth. At this time, a wealthy Tapped man took her in, and became her adoptive father. This is when she became introduced to The Academy. She’s a tenth year, but she’s only attended two. The punk-emo-skater front she displays is quite accurate, although she is very intelligent and skilled, and virtually does anything to remain ‘cool’ by hiding the fact she’s on honor roll. Her mother was American, which is why she doesn’t look Asian, but still carries an Asian name. Her father was Half-demon, but the ancient blood is strong enough to make her one, too.
Even though she has a ‘clique’ of her own, she really doesn’t completely trust them.
She’s also quite the otaku, spending much of ‘sleeping’ time watching you-tube animes, reading mangas, and posting on forums. Her favorite style of Manga is Horror and Action.
Her boyfriend is Michael Benton, a half-demon punk rocker from America.

Abilities: Abjuration, Illusion, Invocation. He trains mainly in abjuration own his own free time to better help him from being hurt.

Dorm: 5
Body Structure: Slender and usually very messy looking as though he just got out of bed. He was born blind so tends to not really make his hair or unwrinkle his clothing his clothing.
Casual Appearance: His most noticeable item is his glasses. He has normal glasses the are tinted with a blue color that make them look icy to go along with his name. He normally wears the school uniform without all the buttons undone and his white T-shirt underneath. He wears the uniform because it is the only set of clothing that he has a the school so that he doesn't accidentally wear the wrong thing to be in uniform.
Weapons: He does not use weapons because he hurt himself with many different weapons as a child since he was blinded at birth. He has a walking stick that he can use to defend himself with, but it is rarely used as an attack weapon.
Biography: Dustin was given the choice to go or not do to the fact that he was blind. He decided that it would be a good idea to go so that he could better defend himself. He has always felt like he was unable to do much on his own until he found out that he would be able to go to Gygax Academy. It was almost mandatory for him to go in his won mind, so he left as soon as he could, although as soon as he could left him behind on two years of schooling.

Body Structure: Very skinny, but not scrawny. Hidden by her frail appearance, she is actually quite strong, and is often the one in charge of moving heavy boxes or things like that (quite a funny thing to watch: a big box with little feet popping of the end, moving at a rather slow pace)

Weopons: Tesson (Iron fan)
Biography: Through out her life she was always known as "that cute little girl" She never really cared, and even took it as a compliment, until her mom was killed instantaneously before her. From that moment on she became obsessed with becoming strong, so that she would never have to watch another person die before her, so she could protect them. Her dad had left her mom when she was still a baby, so when her mom died it left her alone to cope for herself. After half a year of living in a tent away from everyone, stealing if she had to, she was found by a kind young man who took her in, and protected her. After a little while of showing true potential, they sent her to the school, though she was still too young. There she finally found what she had yearned for, the ability to become strong. Immediately her hard work showed and they moved her up into the according grade. Because of her obsession, if anyone even mentions her being small, they find themselves tied up, half of their head shaven, and bruises covering their body the next day. Despite her hard life, she is normally very cheery, and VERY hyper. But don't let her cheeriness fool you, she has a huge temper, and her moods swing often.

Body Structure: She’s extremely skinny, and bent over, using a walker. But she’s abnormally strong for an old lady.

Weapons: She rarely engages in battle, but if she does, she’ll probably win. She uses a Katana that’s about 3” shorter than her, and she uses a tanto knife.
Biography: A mysterious old woman, the only positive thing known about her is that she likes fruit, and that she owns the land the school is placed on. She a curiosity invoking woman and several of the teachers don’t understand what she does half the time. Lately, however, she’s become very forgetful and quite the nut.
She loves to sit in and watch the classes, although sometimes she’ll but in if she thinks the teacher is doing poorly. It’s rumored that her great-great-grandfather was William Gygax, but she says it’s just a rumor, and changes the subject. It’s also rumored that her husband was once the conjuration teacher…before he was sent to the happy house.

Biography: Quite the klutz, she can barely go through a hall with out tripping on something. The Academy is now her home, although she almost acts more like a student then an actual teacher.
Characters NeededHow many? Tapped humans: About 6 needed to make the game more interesting. They don’t have any real differentiating physical features, although they may have slightly tipped ears or strange colored eyes if you desire. They usually have about one or two abilities they are born with and are naturally skillful at performing, but they learn the basics of all of the types of abilities through school. Half-demon: About 4 needed to make it more interesting. Just because their Race implies a sense of evil, doesn’t mean they are. They can be very kind and gentle, or very cruel. Either way, it doesn’t matter. Races are born with special abilities, usually having to do with their personality. They usually have one ability they are extremely talented with, and a few others they can perform with fair skill. They can be winged if you desire, although flying is not allowed through the halls. Some have animal or devilish appearances, such as tails or ears or any other part, such as a hand or foot. Some cannot learn the basics in extra classes, but they are required to attend the classes to learn about what their opponents in the dual room are doing. *Please note- Girl's rooms are on teh left side of hall when entering the corridor, and boy's rooms on the right. Not my fault Mrs. Applebarrel put them in that way. And only four per room are aloud. people may pick any beds they want. Also note, noone is allowed to switch rooms. Any one caught will be punished!!!!! We are proud to say that so far....no one has been caught.

The kooky old headmistress, Mrs. Applebarrel, watched from her window as students sttarted flowing into the front doors, leaving their parents cars, taxis, and even a few buses. The old lady smiled, and slowly made her way from her office to the Main hall, smiling at the pupils, most of which were twice her size.
Kagura shut the door to her father's lambourgini. She opened the trunk, unloading a large duffle bag, and two large rolling suitcases, most of which was not clothing, but rather junk items that would clutter her living space. "Hey, wait Kagura." Mr. Watson said. Kagura rolled her eyes, and turned around, stand, arms crossed.
Mr. Watson undid his seatbelt, and got out of the car, walking over to his daughter. "Forget your ol' dad?" he said, grinning. Kagura smiled lightly, and hugged him, and kissed his cheek. "Bye, dad." She said and started walking back to her school. That was perhaps the most sentimental she would ever get. She opened the double doors, and made her way to the dorms to claim the bed before any one else did, bumping past people as they walked past.
Miss Maybel was checking off students on her clip board as she carefully walked passed them. As she was in the process of checking one off, she fell flat on her face after tripping over a pile of luggage. Before she had a chance to get up, she heard a yell in front of her. One of the teachers were having a fit about some of the students. Miss Maybel and her youth wuickly got up and turned the other way, avoiding the problem.
