I know rules are boring and feel pointless, but they gotta be here. Buuut, by posting in this forum you agree to these rules (so it maybe a good idea to read them, k).

Guild Rules
VocabularyNot to insult any seasoned RPG players or guild activists, but some newbies maynot understand these terms. So allow me to explain them briefly...
Game Master (GM) - the person in charge of the RPG (which is me, basically).
Guild Captain or just Captain - the Guild Captain is the person responsible for the entire guild (which is also me).
Moderator - members that are assigned to a particular forum and are responsible for the order within it.
Player - guild members that are participating in this RPG.
Guild Member or just Member - someone who is a member of the Broken Whispers of Hope guild.
Role Playing Game (RPG) or just the game - in this case its Broken Whispers of Hope. Generally, the RPG refers to the Main Story forum, because this is where the game will be played out.
Main Story Forum - this forum is the main forum for the Broken Whispers of Hope guild. As such, its subject to a special list of rules outlined in the rule list, compared to the other sub-forums (Chat Room, Information, Character Bios, etc.).
God-mod - when a character claims invincibilty, or is able to dodge every attack aimed toward them. Its a prohibited action.
Attack Connections - sometimes people like to write about their characters attack against another player's character and go ahead and write the victim's reaction (for instance, I attack player 2's character and he goes flying into the distance). This gives the attacker an unfair advantage. Thus, it is a prohibited action. However, attacks amongst your own characters is perfectly acceptable (if you like making one of your characters look better than the other, then fine).
Locking characters - a process of putting your character in a position where he/she leaves the RPG temporarily (for example, your character is stuck in a cave and isn't heard from for days). This is generally used for characters who's players are taking a leave of absence or has become inactive.
Posting EtiquetteMembers are free to post in any particular way and/or format that they wish. However, they must post using decent spelling/grammar, in a way that is easily understandable and readable (literary form, asterisk form, etc.), includes content of a PG-13 or lower rating, and shows proper respect to everyone in the guild. This means that everyone is expected to respect everyone else's feelings, beliefs, and ethnic background. It also means that bashing, slurs, flame/flame wars, flooding, swearing, pornography (in ALL of its forms (cyber, text, images, etc.) and versions (yuri, yaoi, etc.) ), posting in all caps (like long sentences in all caps, not single words), or any other similar behavior will not be tolerated. If a member has a problem with another member, then take it off the boards and settle it somewhere else.
Also, obviously, the rules of Gaia online also apply to this guild.
(For players Only) In addition, its advisable that players post on the Main Story forum on a regular basis. This game can go at a pretty quick pace so it is advisable that they check the forum on a daily basis (though its not required). Even if their character isn't involved in the current situation of the game, please post SOMETHING so everyone knows that your alive and checking the boards. It can be as little as "he/she is sleeping" or a monolog by themselves. Also, if a player is going to be away for some time, let the GM know ahead of time and he/she can either give temporary control to another player or lock down the character for the time being. If a player does not post in four days, their characters will be locked. If they don't post in a week, their characters will be discarded and the player will be removed from the game (we assume you left).
Where to PostMembers are asked to post content in the forum most appropriate to its theme. For example, I wouldn't announce events or advertise guilds in the Main Story forum. I'd put it in the Chat Room forum instead. This just keeps the guild forums nice and organized.
In addition, only players are allowed to post in the Main Story forum. Sorry guys, but this forum is dedicated to the RPG only.
(For players Only) In the Main Story forum, players are only allowed to post for this forum within topic threads started by the GM and not allowed to create their own topics. Each topic features a different chapter, which represents a new world or segment in the story-line that the characters are visiting. Each topic will begin with a brief introduction and background information about the chapter. Once the chapter is concluded, the GM will provide some ending comments and lock the topic thread. If a player wishes to start their own topic within this forum or add additional comments to a locked topic, they must seek GM permission ahead of time. This keeps a organized structure and a general flow to the game. In addition, players must keep to the game's story-line. This is a Kingdom Hearts RPG about Gaia, therefore the focus is going to be on these things. Unless it's apart of the story-line, no one is allowed to go off topic and transform this game into something its not.
Warning SystemGuild Captains, GMs, and moderators will be using a warning system (3 strikes and your out) to maintain order in this forum. If they feel that a member is violating any of the described rules, then they are free to take any measure within their power that they see fit to correct the problem and are allowed to give out warnings to the member in question. After 3 warnings, the member will be banned from the guild. In addition, they have the ability to add to the list of rules. If a rule is added by them, members will be required to abide by the rule from that point on.
CharactersMembers are free to submit character bios to the Character Bio forum for feedback. They can even use these characters in the Quests forum, if they'd like. However, to use the character in the main story forum, they must apply for Player status to the GM.
(For players Only) Players must submit a biography of their character to the Character Bios forum for approval by the GM (just let them know in your post or by PM if you wish to use it in the RPG). Once approved, they are free to use it in the game. In addition, players are limited to using only 3 characters at a time (the only exception to this rule is the GM, who needs to play NPC roles). However, they are allowed to kill/remove their character from the game and use a new character in its place. Furthermore, God characters, characters that God-mod, or attack connections are prohibited. You must portray your character in a believable and mortal way, so no one's character is better than anyone else's.
In addition, once a character has been approved for use in the game, the player is limited to the boundaries described in that character bio. If the GM feels that a character is outside their abilities or is taking an ability to far, they can delete the post and reprimand the player.
The most important rule of all...
Have FUN!!!!! rofl rofl rofl
