Ok, when getting ready for con, there's always something that goes wrong. It can be small and unimportant, or it can be big and scary doom that has you pulling out hair. I'd like to hear what everyone's worst problem was when getting ready for con.
For me it's plane tickets to Kumoricon 2007, yes, this is my most recent problem and one I haven't solved yet, but still the worst.
I've been low on funds, so I put off buying them until I could save up a bit more. I have enough money in my account, but I still can't buy the tickets since my bank is blocking all payment to the travel site I found with the best rate. I asked why it'd be doing that and a few of my friends think the bank might be blocking it because of how much money. The bank might not think it's me buying the ticket...even though I've bought tickets to Oregon three times before with no problem.
My car recently exploded, so I can't go to the bank and see what's going on.

Haven't been to a con yet, but I know of a few issues people can have.
~ Cat/dog hair on the costume. Even if it's the same color, you can still tell it's there just screaming for people to notice. >.> I have to avoid my dog at all costs when wearing my outfits around the house to get used to them.
~Safety pins coming undone- Another thing of mine. One costume is a bit too big, and if the safety pins come undone I'm in big trouble since my mom is the one who knows how to hide them without it being uncomfertable to wear.
~ Makeup malfunction -I'm sure everyone has had this. Where they're on the way to the con or whatever and notice something wrong with their makeup, or notice something they've forgotten. They thankfully have it with them, but when they try to put it on in the car, or even out of it, they screw it up royaly and there's nothing around to clean ALL of it off and start all over again. (For we all know that no matter what, you can't get a bit of makeup for cons off without having to get the rest of it off)

How about no money to buy anything with, and I'm only half done with my first of three cosplay? =o
Oh, and my source for a sewing machine is leaving next week until right before K-con. xD

Last year, we procrastinated until I only had a week left to make the costume. Mom and I pulled a couple almost all-nighters, and I almost kicked a hole in the wall from stress. =D
I also had to get sewn into said costume because the collar was...wrong. To say the least.
AND I had to drive up every day, shaving off an hour of precious con time. D:
That was last year.
This year is also procrastination, just not as much.

The worst I've had to deal with was either being sick, or having a migraine. I don't remember which it was though. And then, for Sakura~con, we were driving and had JUST left town when I realized I didn't have my backpack with me{it had my wallet}...so we had to turn around. The last thing can think of is when your soooooo excited because your soooooo close to the con {distance wise} but your lost and cant find it. sweatdrop

To stargazere: That sucks!!
The worst thing that has happened to me is my lulu top is kinda too small on top for me but the big fake fur thing covers that up BUT its not attached to the corset part so sometimes it sorta goes all weird. I have to have one of my friends on cleavage watch =__=; oh and the belts sometimes fall off the skirt XD

before sakura-con one of my sisters friend gave me and her head lice. that week before i spent cleaning the house top to bottem. i hated it. and not even a month later we got it again because of her friend. lets just say she can't be around that friend any more.

Oh yeah, I forgot...
Last year, I got my hair cut before the con and the lady made my bangs too short. (I think I looked stupid 'cause I hated them.)
Haven't gone to that place since.
