I don't know how many of you guys have kept up with the Site, but what has developed in the previous months is nothing short of an abomination.

Everything about MND as we know it has been changed, including the art.

Does this mean that the card game will be different?

I can almost 100% guarantee that it will not be the same game, since all the characters have been renovated and in some cases renamed.

WHAT THIS MEANS FOR THE GUILD.

Well, nothing bad, strictly speaking. But at the same time, nothing "good." I expect that the new fan-base will be a separate one from the old, so even if the television series and new game flourish it will have little to do with us.

Also, as a bright note, a few buddies and I have kicked the MND RPG back into action and have been really enjoying it. Perhaps this means that the guild will be reignited once I get some free time.

I'd like to see the game I've been promising for over a year now under way, and I've finally thought of some ways to do it.

I kept up with site up to the point that I got a look a Agram. Then I deleted the bookmark for the site and havn't been back since.

As for the cardgame. I highly doubt I'll play it, especially if they're going to do one of the cheapest things that any card game/TV series can do. Use screenshots from the series as card art. I'm not saying that this is what the'll do, but considering how things look so far, I wouldn't put it past them.
The only card game I ever played that this was forgivable, was Ani-Mayhem.

As for the guild. I really, honestly, do not intend to sound like an a** but, is the guild going to be accepting people who want to join because of the series/new card game?
EDIT: Not that I care if the guild does. It's just something I'm curious about.

As for the RPG. This is definately great news. And my offer to be a test subject for it still stands if you think you might need one.

Well, at least we can brag about being OLD SCHOOL MND fans to the newbies that the show creates.
What the hell did they do to Freeps? Make them Parmalags?! And Uggers are from Naroom now!? WTF!? eek

I am guessing I am an optimist and wanto to wait and see what develops. I just hope that the 2 iD style of playing continues on the TCG. I just don't want to learn another card game game play. I think that MND was very innovative TCG and they should keep this style.

That's my 2 cents...

After seeing the first episode of the new cartoon, I have to say I'm even less optimistic now about the future of MND. Freeps are parmalags now, for starters. Darges look dumber. I could go on, but I don't feel like it. I want the "old days" to come back. The original animation prototype from 5 years ago looked so much better.

Still curious about the MMO game. But it's not going to be as cool as it would have been if it had kept the oldschool MN look. My opinion, anyway.
