Echo's black ears turned about hearing hoofbeats behind him he turned his head and gave a half horse smirk. He stomped his foot. "you shouldnt sneek up on a horse...its just not good to do..."He turned his head back to eating.
Zeru tipped his head and snorted he had escaped from his mother and now he had to deal with mor lecturing. Great... He snorted a little snort and walked in front of Echo. "Well i wasnt sneeking to begin with and...you arent my mother..." he nodded flicking his small tail and looked up seeing another horse. He smiled and charged he swung to a stop. "Hi..."

Uzuri wandered around Azale without a whole lot to do. She hadn't seen her brother or father in the longest time, and her mother was helping Ruby take care of her filly, Lyana. She already had her morning run, and now she was quite bored. Suddenly, she spotted Echo and Zeru, two horses she could not recognize. "Hello there!"

Echo sdropped his head with a sigh and turned around to look at the mare. "Sorry about him...he has yet to learn manners" He walked over and nudged the foal. He looked up at the mare again. "Im ech and well this is a pathetic excuse for an escape artist..."
Zeru snorted and stomped his little foot. "I have manners see..." he looked at the mare and tipped his head slightly. "Im Zeru...whats your name?"
Echo snorted and shoo his head. "Sure...and pigs fly... dont you see them..." He rolled his eyes. "I dont know why i get stuck with the little one but... hey he kinda grows on you..." he looked at the foal. "At least pantheras, my son, has manners"

Uzuri giggled at the two. Sure, they were arguing with each other, but she was getting the impression that they were friends. "I'm Uzuri. It's nice to meet you both."
She looked down at Zeru with a smile. "Well, you're much more polite than Lyana, a filly I live with. She wakes everybody up in the middle of the night!" Then she looked back at Echo. "Oh, you're a father? You must be so proud of your son."

Zeru smiled "See Echo..im nice...and i have manners..." He looked at Uzuri "Is she your filly?" He asked softly and tipped his head. Echo just hung his head
"You dont ask a mare that..." He sighed aand looked up. "WEll it was sort of a one time thing...Magi has a new stallion after her.. Im very proud of my son dont get me wrong. Hes just a constent reminder of what could have been. But i dont blaim her. IUts better that way."

"Oh no no! Lyana's my friend's filly, not mine!" Uzuri laughed good-naturedly. "And I don't mind. It's good to be curious." Then she looked sympathetically at Echo. "I'm sorry things didn't work out..."

Echo smiled slightly "dont worry about me...what brings you this way? I thought we were out a ways." he looked back tward the yert city.
Zeru smiled "I would love to meet her sometime." he snorted his little baby snort.

"I'm out here for two reasons, actually. One, I was looking for something to do. Two, I'm avoiding my friend's filly! I'm the youngest of the yurt, and she likes to follow me around. She a little hyper whirlwind! I'm not lazy, but I can't keep up with her..." Uzuri laughed and gave her mane a little shake. "She would like to meet you, Zeru. She doesn't have many foals to play with. It's just her and her sister."
