Summer Ball at the Tresquax EstateBeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeean~<333 The Tresquax estate is located at the edge of the Northern Forest, practically surrounded on three sides with rolling hills and forests. To the left of the mansion is a slight dip down, a slight downwards hill leading towards a private beach of white sand.
The Tresquax Mansion was the home of Macy, Shiayla and Murdoth before they had to go on the run and Macy inherited it from his father when he was presumed dead. Thus he tried numerous times to escape the Labyrinth so he could keep it in good order.
Lord Murdoth would probably be angered to know that Macy has turned his beautiful water gardens into a hedge Labyrinth (a much smaller and friendlier one then the actual Labyrinth mind you) and has kept Lady Shiayla's butterfly gardens --located in the southern gardens-- in as top shape as he could.
Once inside the mansion a short walk across the entrance hall leads you to the large ball room, decorated in gold (El Dorado really wigged Macy out last night) tapestries, each with the symbol of the four kingdoms coming to visit. Unlike Jareth, Macy has drafted in waiters and NOT Goblins to serve out the drinks and walk around with tidbits. Macy himself, his daughter Estelle, Caspian (if he wants to attend, Lady Shiayla has promised Lord Murdoth's weapons have been confiscated and he will be kept on a short leash), Jareth (if he's in time for the ball) and his four guests of honour all have throne type chairs in whcih to sit, atop a gold-trimmed podium at the far end of the hall, directly facing the large double doors.
The Mansion will be open for exploring (mind you there has been a recent inventory in case of...accidents) but select rooms are closed off for the sake of privacy (such as Macy's room, his parent's room, the armory, his father's study) and the gardens and beach are also allowed to be explored fully. Just don't go wandering into the forest, you might stumble across something most foul, it's really unpredictable.Rules
-keep OOC to a minimum.
- Don't swear with every second word.
- No player killing and avoid physical fights.
- Don't go above pg-13 (heaven knows why you would be required to).
- Try not to break anything in the mansion.
- Don't steal!!.
- Don't godmod.
- Though this is a rule i've never had to use in ITL (cos face it, all you guys are awesome) I feel it required to put here so: please type out your posts in proper english, don't use blinding colours and please don't signify actions with '*..*' or any other use of those, thanks muchly loveys~

Macy sighed softly, exasperated and not just a little stressed as he allowed the main doors to be opened, letting the guests in so they could attend this goddamn ball. It was such a different view from up here on the podiums, he'd always been part of the crowd of dancers, not the higher up. He shifted Estelle in his arms, watching the baby blink around blearily in wonder, Macy found himself wondering if the gold intrigued her, she was certainly attached to just staring at the gold draperie hung from the ceiling over where they sat, he glanced at the food and drink tables longingly, he couldn't even drink alcohol. Oh well, Estelle was important now.
"right baby~" he asked his daughter softly, running a finger gently over her chubby cheek, she babbled and took the finger in her hands and Macy was glad she had a pacifier in, he didn't need slobbery fingers right now. Why he had chosen to wear White and gold clothes (in the same design as his usual clothes so MORE STUPID PANTS AVY XD), he wore a cape this time, making it slightly different, he felt too dressed up. Estelle was dressed in a white dress akin to those of a human christening, with blue ribbon weaved into the lace. He had to admit, it was a very lovely dress.
Hyde stepped into the ballroom, looking around nervously. It had been a while since he had been in such a big crowd, the last time must have been Kyou's party. His heart gave a slightly painful ache before he tried shrugging it off, mask tied firmly to his face with ribbon so he wouldn't be easily spotted, he didn't know if he could face Kyou if he was asked to attend, he guessed yes, seeing as Macy had to use the Goblin King's invitation list, it just went up to see if he was up to it.
'oh well...at least I get to see Macy and Estelle, I doubt Feroz would come here' he thought, finding himself sincerely hoping the Drow did want to come. He pinked before shaking his head, lifting a goblet of white wine from one of the trays a waiter was carrying around. Relax, thats what he needed to do.
Lady Shiayla was stood outside the entrance to the ball, bursting with excitement and pride over the fact she was attending her son's ball, and a grand ball it looked no less!! She was, in actuality, waiting for her husband to join her. If he was still sulking over her confiscating his weapons she'd have to give as good as she got, sometimes she felt like she had two children. Murdoth and Macy was so very much alike and they didn't see it.
Though she had to admit it was weird seeing Macy in love with someone she had known breifly in childhood, she didn't degrade him any over it though. Her only child was happy and had a child, so she was happy aswell. She just wished her hot-headed husband could see it in the same light
Merethist looked around excitedly at the ball around him, clinging onto Nishi's arm with a death grip. He was extremely excited, but not a little scared. This was the first time he'd been in big crowds or noisy areas without Jay and everyone seemed bigger than him. Nishi had offered to take the Corsea along, as Jay was less than enthusiastic about being in such a big crowd while he was Ill. Cold, who'd have thought he'd get a cold??
"babay??" he asked Nishi, pointing to Macy as the Unigon cradled Estelle. Nishi nodded and smiled, leading Merethist over to the Podium.
"yes Mere, baby"

 Macy's father was hardly in the party mood. It had been some time since he had come to his home.. and the sight he found there made him want to break things. He was far too dignified to give into this of course, that fit of anger would be reserved for a certain... pirate... if he saw him.. but things were most definately not as he'd left them. What the Blasted Hell had happened to his lovely Water Garden! Who the Hell wanted a foul Maze of Hedges! Ugh! It was a disgrace.
In fact.. since returning hom very little had pleased the stren dragon lord.
He was aware that his own choises in life had been anything but perfect! But he could not condone the marriage his son was seeking to be a part of! Nobility, no matter what their Blood! Did not marry the Scourge of the seas! He would die before he saw his son many that filthy elf. The Pirate King! The title itself was a Mockery! As if though theiving, burning, rapeing scoundrells could have any kind of Noble blood in them! He was far too old as well. It was dispicable.
And the apparent relation he had to Jareth Hardly made it any better in Murdoth's eyes. He could take or leave that sneaky Fae as far as he was concerned.. he cared possibly a little too much for the Lady Shiayla... Jareth Was not to be trusted.
To top everything off they'd taken away his weaponry! This was an annoyance more than anything, it was his home! Who the HELL did they think they were treating him like a Child! Did they really think they could get away with disgraceing him like this in front of the most noble guests this house had ever seen..? He'd have words with his family over this one. That was for sure.
Besides... had they forgotten what he was? A Dragon hardly needed his sword to kill now... did he....

 Quite frankly there was no way this side of hell becoming a rather tasty popsicle that Caspian Aurelius was going to set foot anywhere near that blasted summer ball. No indeed.
He'd had his fair experiance of life, and he had learnt many things.
For example that you dont poke a demon in the eye.
You usually heat soup up before you eat it - Except Gespatcho. Which in all honesty tastes rather weird if you do heat it up..
And that you always find the best treasure maps when you're drunk...
But the most important lesson he had learnt is, that when you piss off a rather big scary Dragon man. You Dont then go and have a jolly party with him. Because at the end of the day the party will be a lot less jolly for you than it will be for him...
He had read the note that had somehow found its way to him - He had made sure to hide a lot more fully after that had shown up. How the hell had it found its way to him anyway?. And had made the rash decision that he was most certainly not going.
Weapons or no weapns Murdoth was going to kill him if he saw him.
And he was preeeeetty sure that the dragon could fly faster than he could run.. and with wings, even fleeing out to sea wasnt going to help him any if he was seen... so, at the end of the day he decieded that holeing up somwhere, somewhere totally secret, so secret I'm afraid my dears that his location is entirely classified, so much so that even my nimble typing fingers cant tell you where it is... and wait for either murdoth to die, or for a suddon change in his draconion heart... both, he felt, were rather blummin unlikely.
Maybe he'd be able to rallly his crew somehow and make a break for the ship...? It seemed rather unlikely...
Still, he could hope! Either way! He knew he was totally safe! Totally totally safe!
But...
If he was safe... then why the hell did somone yelling,
"Caspian Aurelius!" Alarm him so very much?!
Oh!
Because no one was meant to know where he was! In a rush of panic Caspian flung himself out of the range of the shadow that had fallen over him and rolled, pushing himself up into a protective crouch, ready to fight or flee in a momnets notice,
"Caspian.. What the hell were you doing curled up in a tree-stump...?"
Caspian Blinked..
"Kastor...?"

Lady Shiayla spotted her husband, and felt herself internally sighing at the stormy expression he wore she knew he still hadn't gotten over the loss of his water garden OR his weaponry. She stepped forward to meet him, a slender arm looping through his arm and a pretty smile gracing her features as she gazed adoringly at him. Even if he looked grumpy, she had to at least keep the family sane. It had turned dysfunctional some many years ago and now they needed to piece it back together, Murdoth and Macy weren't getting off to a very good start. Yes their son was rather unruly, but Murdoth wasn't even giving Caspian a chance!!
"Murdoth sweetie~" Shiayla said softly, in her usual calming tone. She was a healer and people worshiped the ground she stood on, practically a saint. And in others eyes, she had wed the devil, but the devil had her heart, no matter how darn annoying he could get! "please try and enjoy this, we haven't seen Macy in twenty years, I want us to be a family again~" she asked quietly, uselessly transparent fan open and held to her side, it wasnt like it was much use anyway and with Murdoth with her, she doubted people would stop to make small talk. "don't you want Estelle to have a nice ball??" she asked, knowing he found her totally adorable, not many people did actually. She doubted if even Macy knew.
Macy was getting more and more depressed with every person that came through the door, he expected Caspian to come, his mother had promised Murdoth would be kept away, but where was Caspian?? He really hadn't spent much time with the pirate King since they had been forced apart by the Navy and he silently wondered if the pregnancy had anything to do with it. He loved both Caspian and his daughter to pieces and if he had his way, he would have much rather sat on the ship with Caspian and just had a quiet night in. He missed snuggling with the elf.
'god sake, if dad has anything to do with this, I'll disown him!!' he scowled at the thought, making sure Estelle was cradled comofrtably in his arm before he made his way into the small crowd of guests, hoping to find someone, anyone who could tell him where his fiance' was, at this rate, he was doubting they'd even walk up the aisle if his father could help it. He wasn't even sure about running off anymore, his father was terribly resourceful.

"Mother please, why do I have to wear this clown suit?""Its not a clown suit, you look so handsome in it!""I feel like a fool. Couldn't I have at least kept my regular eye patch?""No! It would clash with the outfit!"
Calistina reached up to fuss with her son's hair again. The moment she had gotten the letter and seen the crew of the Hades would be present at the ball, her son was promptly kidnapped and forced to wear the proper court attire. The half drow herself was in a beautiful cream colored dress trimmed in gold. Form fitting around the bust and waist but fell gently past her hips and flowed slightly behind her. Blue ribbons tied off the sleeves and lovely golden tiara graced her white hair. Even her gloves had a golden touch to them as her arm was taken by her son and she was lead into the ball. She brought her kitsune mask to her face as she looked around and smiled a few of the guests she knew. A few were quite suprised to see the two of them together once again. "Mother, cut it out! You are embarressing me!"
The pirate sighed as he pushed his mother's hand away from his head. He already felt like a fool ever since his mother hired those guys to bring him to the house. After all, that's how mothers call their sons home. He looked completely different should any of his fellow ship mates see him. His normal black eye patch had been replaced with a white one. Under his dark blue jacket he wore an open front white shirt, which greatly complimented the strong Bosun's muscular chest. His white pants clung to his strong legs and a pair of shined black boots were on his feet. He was even wearing white gloves. For anyone who had ever known him in court, the seductive man standing there looked very much like the gentleman he had once been. However he had no mask, he didn't feel the need to wear once considering he wore an eye patch.The two walked around until they found Macy. Calistina went all out mother as she cooed and smiled at the baby while Raguel tried not to look overly embarressed at being in a clown suit agian.

Kyou had entered through the main doors of the house, feeling both nervous and thrilled at the same time. He knew a few of the people here but they had not seen him for the past month and he had changed considerably since then. His hair had grown a little and he was able to tie it back in a small ponytail, the Avery sunshine had bleached it a little and he had gained a few caramel coloured highlights here and there. Now that his horns were gone he now appeared to be a lot shorter, plus he could also wear hats, which was a strange novelty. Aside from the physical changes he seemed more relaxed, more confident, his anxiety had lessened and his eyes looked straight ahead from behind his mask and not at the floor like they had previously done. Subtle changes but noticeable ones.
He wasn't sure where Sereph was, only that he could feel his presence wherever he went and had felt that way ever since the angel had become his guardian. He whispered the other's name quietly, willing him to join him. This was an occasion where he would rather be blessed with the angel's company. Sereph always knew how to make him feel better in awkward situations with just the touch of his hand or a kind word.
He saw Hyde on the other side of the room. He was disguised as he was but he could recognise the elf anywhere. Strangely he hadn't been thinking about him much in the past two weeks, Sereph just seemed to be able to keep his mind clear and free of worry. And besides what did he have to worry about? If anything Hyde should be worried. The Seelie silently chastised himself for thinking ill of another, but not very much.
Illsaide waited impatiently for his plus one to arrive. This was the only public function that would not be attended by his father and he wanted to make the most of it. Of course gossip would eventually reach the old man but very few of the people here were well aquianted with the naga kingdom. He noticed that weird elf woman though and decided to steer well clear of her lest he should get another nonsensicle rant. He found it quite amusing but after half an hour his brain began to hurt.
The invitation had been intended for himself and Jade, but since the butterfly's rather mysterious disapearance from the palace he had asked the newly returned Pomegranate to chaperone him. He had not seen the drowga for many months and wanted to spend as much time as possible with him before they were found out or in case his father tried to marry him off again. It was getting rather annoying.

Macy had been wandering around aimlessly, until he spotted Hyde on the otherside of the room. He carefully walked over to him, cradling Estelle--who was now awake a relishing the attention she recieved--as he stopped to stand next to his friend, frowning. Hyde looked so down right now. Was it Kyou still?? Maybe he shouldn't of badgered the elf into coming here, it really was rather too soon for any ill feelings to be dispelled between Hyde and Kyou.
"Hyde...??" he asked quietly, handing on his shoulder when Calistina and Raguel walked over and diverted his attention. Macy smiled and greeted them happily, smiling at Estelle, who was babbling quietly to Calistina.
"it's nice that you could make it Lady Calistina, Raguel" he greeted happily, smiling pleasantly. He studied Raguel's clothing and surpressed a smitk. It was odd seeing the Bo'Sun out of pirate gear.
Hyde had spotted Kyou and taken his lip between his teeth, eyes averted beneath the mask as he tried to ignore the other. He had hurt Kyou badly and he doubted Kyou wanted to talk to him yet, still...he didn't want to lose touch with Kyou and with that thought he took up another goblet of wine, walking towards the Unseelie with the hope it wouldnt get chucked back into his face.

"Oh I wouldn't miss dressing up my boy for the world, Lord Macy. Ah such a beautiful baby. I sometimes miss Raguel's baby days. He was much easier to handle then."
The elf giggled. She wagglged a dark finger at Estelle, a very motherly look upon her face. She did miss being a full time mother during her lonely days in her home, but then again, she never had to pay for babysitters any more. She turned her attention back to the unigon, glancing about for Caspian but not seeing him. She wondered what happened to the elf. Though considering the rumbles from Macy's father, he was most likely hiding. Calistina suddenly thought she would get along well with the dragon, considering her own dislike of the elf.
"So who are these rulers of the lost realms dear Macy? I dare say you've gotten the entire Underground talking with that announcement."
Raguel sighed and just kept quite, he also got his hands on a cup of wine. He looked over the court to see if he remembered anyone, not that he thought he would having been gone for about a hundred years. He was also on the lookout for his Captain, he would feel better with another pirate around.

Kyou caught the elf's eye and knew he had been spotted. He had really hoped his costume had disguised him, but there was no such luck. He sighed gently and wished that he was not alone before turning away from the elf to mingle with the other guests. He was not ready to talk to him yet, not without Sereph in any case, he wanted to be calm and not let his emotions get the better of him. A waiter passed, offering him a tray of pink champagne which he politely ignored. He had gone eighteen and a half years without touching a drop and he wasn't going to start now. Grapes on the other hand were perfectly acceptable so he picked a couple from a nearby table, enjoying the slight sourness of the ripening fruit.

Hyde felt his feet stopas Kyou turned his back on him, feeling a little lost before he steeled himself and walked up to Kyou, watching him quietly before holding out the goblet of wine or whatever was in it, he hadn't checked really. He felt nervous and didn't mind what Kyou did to him, he could kick,scream,slap or even run him through with a butter knife and he'd take it, because he deserved it.
"Kyou, i'm sorry..." he said gently, bracing himself for anything Kyou threw at him, even the cold shoulder. which he was expected more than the goblet of wine over his head.
Macy smiled at Calistina.
"he does look rather..." Macy grinned, what was that word?? oh yes!! "...fetching in that outfit, Lady Calistina" he said quietly, aiming a rather half smirk at Raguel, it didnt suit him really. "isn't she?? she takes after her father alot!" Macy said happily, watching Estelle blink at Calistina's cooings before she baby grinned and flecked her arms, silver eyes happily watching the pretty lady's jewellry.
"some new alliances for the Goblin Kingdom, they should be arriving as soon as they can, Jareth said that they are most interesting, though he said King El Rey Dorado was the most interesting of the lot" Macy said, watching Raguel before flicking his gaze down to Estelle, who still had her gaze on Calistina.

Kyou gave Hyde a blank look. Didn't the elf even realise that he did not wish to speak to him. Maybe he should not have come here, but it was rude to turn down an invitation, and he had wanted to save face and appear as though Hyde's and his father's abandonment didn't bother him, and that even though he only had his wages from the clinic to live off, he could still appear to be respectable. In fact Dr Miyagi had been secretly rounding up his paychecks to the nearest hundred, which he viewed with some tenderness, it was a nice gesture.
A part of him wanted to give the elf a piece of his mind, yell at him for all the pain he had caused him, all the emotional turmoil and spiritual conflict. But he knew he shouldn't cause a scene and that he should rise above the situation. He was probably expecting him to avoid him, and that irked him more than anything, that the elf though he knew him well enough to predict his actions.
"Sorry for what exactly?" he asked with an icy calm. It was a cruel question, but didn't he have a right to lose his temper once in a while? Wrath was a sin, but so was everything and he was growing tired of following the rules.

Hyde watched, feeling icy water hit his inside at Kyou's reaction to him, well he wasn't expecting a whole lot really, even if the hurt had been unitentional. But then through all this mess, who had he been left with?? He didn't want to cause trouble for either Dr. Miyagi or Dr. Chai and Macy had Estelle to look after and a row involving his parents. His worries seemed so little compared to everyone elses. So he was now staying with Feroz, drawing comfort from Feroz and getting closer to Feroz. He was glad, Kyou was looking better than the last time he had seen him.
But somehow, he felt that being run through with a knife was easier then hearing that tone of voice. He couldn't help but flinch back a little, gloved hands grasping tighter around the goblets he held, he placed Kyou's down, obviously he didn't want it.
"hurting you, driving you away, causing you harm and being a complete....jerk" he couldn't ffind a better word without being totally rude really, he didn't swear. He darted his gaze out to the gardens and looked at Kyou. "come walk in the gardens with me, you can shout,yell or even kill me and no one will know or hear then" he said soberly, gesturing to the main hall door. He didn't care what Kyou did to him, he just wanted to make sure Kyou was alright.
