How's the parking at your university/business? How's the commute there? Do you breeze by small roads or do you go bumper-to-bumper for an hour or so?
Since I've been going to UCF, I get to share parking with 48k+ students. You really have to hunt for a parking spot. I was stalking the same parking area for 30-45 minutes one day.
My girlfriend once missed class and ended up being on time for the next class because of parking/traffic over there. I've never had that much of a problem with parking there, but I guess it was just in the cards for her that day.

Depends on time of day really. since I'm going to a community college at the moment, it's not very populated in the parking lot.

Parking on my campus (ENMU) is pretty bad. I live on campus and usually drive solely on the weekends, that way I don't loose my spot and have to park out in BFE.

The parking on campus sucks in Gainesville. Even, I get a ticket for just dropping my roommate off near her class. Utterly stupid.

Luckily I go to a small art school so the parking isn't terrible. Some semesters they have been issues, but they seemed to have worked it out.

I go to Xavier University in Cincinnati. They have a special commuter parking area, but you literally have to be there an hour before anything starts to get a good spot, because the commuter lot is ideally placed. Otherwise, you have to park out in the boonies where it takes fifteen minutes to get anywhere. I've been late (a couple of minutes) because I had to sprint to class.
Otherwise, the commute really isn't that bad.

At UNCC we've had the worst parking situation. I've taken to carpooling with a friend and arriving at 7AM in the morning to get a good space. After 8AM, there are no spaces in the parking deck, and you're lucky if you find anything in the parking lot. Also, when trying to leave the parking lot there is alot of traffic. It continues well after 9PM. This makes me really hate being a commuter.

Eh, my problem with parking is thatonly one or two lots are listed as non-overnight parking, so the on-campus kids put their cars in the best places and LEAVE THEM THERE all semester.
I really think the Student Association should do something about it. Or explode. Or something.
Personally, it's the drive that aggrivates me. I'm sick of sitting on the Interstate in rush-hour both on the way in and on the way home.
Because I'm just made of non-renewable energy, right?

I'm lucky because I have early classes, so I miss all that crazy parking bull. Even if I do have later classes, because I live a good 15 minutes away from the school, it's better to just stay on campus rather than brave the traffic.
for those of you who don't live in Orlando, you'll be really confused by this part (lol): But if you do have to come onto UCF campus after 10, use the science drive off-campus parking (a nice little trick my fiancé and I have picked up over the past couple years), but don't tell too many people, it's a secret wink plus there's always the Lake Pickett short cut for people who live East of the school (great way to skip most of 50 and Alafaya in the morning).
