Taiwan: F4 to Formally Disband in October
Taiwan's popular boy band F4 will become history as the lead singer Jerry Yan will leave the current company soon, the Fujian-based Southeast Express reports on Friday.
The pop singer and actor's contract with Wu Fu Long Production Company will come to an end in October, and it has been confirmed that he will not renew the contract. Jerry Yan launched his own studio "Star Jerry" back in 2005.
In order to develop his market in Japan, he signed in secret with Japanese Top boy group SMAP's agent Johnny and Associates to act as his new manager in June, thus becoming Kimura Takuya's junior colleague.
The other members of the group, including Ken Chu and Vanness Wu, will also face decisions regarding their contracts soon. Vanness Wu has already decided that he will not renew his contract at the end of this year, while Ken Chu also admitted that he was considering leaving.
Only Vic Chou will continue to work with the current agency, says the report.
The boy group swept Southeast Asia with their popular youth idol TV drama "Meteor Garden", and since 2000 the members have pursued their own career paths.
I DON'T WANT THEM TO DISBAND!!!

yes i'll admit fahrenheit has taken their place and people are liking them better BUT F4 WAS MY FIRST GROUP crying I CAN'T FORGET HOW THEY'VE TOUCHED ME WITH THEIR MUSIC! I don't want them to split! gonk

I just recently heard that their new album together is coming out. I'm REALLY confused. DID THEY REALLY BREAK UP OR WAS THIS A FALSE ALARM? IF ANY OF U GUYS KNow..plz tell me.

i have their new album lol, and it sounds very goood~
yes, they did break up, but i think they came back together for this album.
there's one song where they sing, "Goodbye my friend..."
i think they sang only a few songs together, but they each have their own solos. one song by vanness sounded weird.
Try youtubing their new songs/vids
The song "白" by vic is sooo beautiful!!! heart
check out "在這裡等你" which features all of them, it translates to "waiting for you" and is pretty catchy...

They all are improving a lot in their singing as well as acting. I wonder why Vanness only do movies and not dramas? I want to see him in another drama!

I absolutely love their new album.
I'm actually listening to it right now. XD; (At Ken's first song.)
I had to download it after I watched their Waiting For You and Good-bye music Videos on CR.
This is their best CD yet as far as I've heard.
And I want to know if they broke up or not, because it seems like it yet it doesn't at the same time. >.<;

hm... good question... Idk but I am listening to the 2 songs that they sing 2gether from their new cd.
I think they will always be F4 no matter what happens because they have a bond so strong since the MG days. I doubt it could be broken just because they cannot work together anymore.
