I have decided to do another contest! burning_eyes

Exciting eh?
Well I've decided to do a mixture of a Prose and Fanfic- but it's not really fanfic. More or less a prose I should say.
I don't know the age group we have on here so the top post is a little background of a movie called: Breakfast at Tiffany's

I put the song Moon River up because it kind of sets the mood for my contest. You don't have to follow it but I want every one to understand what this is about.
The qoute I want you to use is the one in it's own post. You can put it anywhere in your story. I don't care where, but it has to be in there LIKE THAT. There really should be some relation to it as well. (Just not a crazy cat lady that lives next door. Remember- the cat is nameless! A crazy cat lady usually names her cats. All 40 of them! rofl

Disclaimer: I would like to make a note that I am not plagerizing. I give full credit to the movie: Breakfast at Tiffany's. (i'd be a fool not to.)

***Like Gone With the Wind this is a very famous story and it would be easy to take as you're own. Please don't. Fanfic only goes as far and it doesnt serve the original purpose of this contest. On that note- on too the next rule.

***Vampires and darkness is allowed. The movie Breakfast at Tiffany's is sad. There can be drama- there can be happiness. Just as long as there is structer.

There will be an entrance fee. (sorry guys and girls, but you will see why.)
But to strike an interest in this contest-
I'm going to give away- 1,700 gold to the first place winner. (No second or third. Sorry. >>)
If there's a big out pouring of entries- I can raise it to 2000!
I know we all want to get paid for our work.

Sorry.... but I want to make this a contest worth fighting for.
Gold doesnt mean everything but I know we want our work to get noticed. Not to mention bragging rights are pretty fun to! wink

I had a whole four entries for my contest. We don't have a ton of active members. Are you advertising in the main Gaia Writing contest thread? Try bumping your thread there and getting attention from the rest of Gaia too.
