((Ok, this is just a random off-the-top-of-my-head RP so bear with me, ok? There is no set goal in this RP nor a full blown-out story. Deal with it.))

Centuries have come and gone and things have shifted throughout the Havens. Five kingdoms flurished and fell, leaving behind guardians to keep watch, their oaths forever sealed within the Havens' boundaries.

Rules:
1-Abide all normal rules set for the CAH.
2-Be literate and detailed in your posts. (It makes for a better RP.)
3-No god-modding. (IE-instant kills, immortal life, over-the-top powers/reflexsive abbilities, etc.)
4-Fill out the profile form correctly before starting to role play.
5-Don't b***h about anything if you don't like it.
6-Romance is ok but no go overboard.

Profile Form:
-Character's Name: [First and Last]
-Age: [Make it correct for your race. IE-Elves live for 1000 years so one who appears 23 in human years wil be about 130 in Elven years.]
-Race: [NO demons, angels, half-cat/fox/bunny, half demons/angels, etc. Normal fantasy races please. IE. Elf, human, orc, dwarf, faerie, halfling, etc.]
-Class: [IE-Fighter, mage, cleric, thief, etc.]
-Status: [IE-Guardians (FIVE ONLY!), servent, knight, etc.]
-Weapons: [NO guns or anything modern.]
-Appearence: [Write a good discription. Pictures are optional.]
-Personallity: [Again, write a good description.]
-Background: [Write about how your character came to be, what his/her life is like, etc.
^^Just copy and paste this in a new post.^^

Character Profiles:

Player: Sunray Tristram
-Character's Name: Perameth Lyniissha (Pera or Peris for short)
-Age: 76
-Race: centaur
-Class: Fighter/Cleric
-Status: Guardian
-Weapons: Glaive, Composite Longbow, Throwing Daggers, Dagger
-Appearence: Perameth's human half appears like any other human female, her skin a light tan. She is slinder yet strong, her muscles toned yet still feminine. Her pale and straight blonde hair reaches halfway down her back, two braids coming from her temples and connecting on the back of her head. Her eyes are large, almost innocent, and are a pale green (peridot) color that lighten and darker with her moods. She wears a small jewel adorned top that just barely covers her modesty; the top being dark green with peridots sewn on. On each of her arms are silver arm bands, each with a single smooth peridot on them. Her horse half is also sleek yet very well toned and rather powerful. The smooth short coat is cream in color, her legs fading to a light brown near the hooves. Her swift tail is also light brown and is adorned with a single pale green string wrap.
-Personallity: Normally a cheerful person, Perameth enjoys the simple things in life but often finds herself striving for company in her abandoned Haven by the sea. Don't let her appearance and demeaner trick you, though. Since she was able to walk, Perameth has been trained in the arts of battle and knows much about clerical magic, making her a fine Guardian...though there is still much for her to learn. She is a very passionate and fierce person and takes her position as Guardian very seriously.
-Background: Perameth was born and raised in the Sea Haven Point and, at an early age, was trained by her family to become a skilled fighter and cleric. Her training was cut short, though, when her family seemingly disappeared in the war, leaving Perameth to be the new Guardian of an empty Haven.

Player: Lance Tristram
-Character's Name: Von Darnezbonishie
-Age: 140
-Race: Drow elf
-Class: Fighter

He is slow to anger, but can be aggressive in battle. Outside of war he is a very calm and intellectual sort that if pushed to talk will joke with his friends while sharing what he has learned of the world with others.
-Background: Von has an intresting background that reflects why he is not like most other drow. He was raised by surface elves. His mother, who had just given birth to him was stoned out of a village for hiding amongst them and only after reciving mortal wounds did she escape from the injustice of the townsfolk. As she lay dying in the woods her child having remained unharmed in the attack slept in her arm. An elven patrol party soon discovered the lass amongst some brush, after hearing her groans of pain. The leader of the group took pity on this bullied woman and swore to her that he would take care of the child as if he were his own. Von grew up knowing he was different from the other elves but never really minding it. He made friends and enemies just as most children do and was accepted into the community. It was only until he ventured out of his loving home that he experiance the persecution his kind faces on the surface and time and time again he was demoralized for his heritage. He returned to his home to try and start over from scratch...

Player: Umiyuko
-Character's Name: Laksha (Unknown last name.)

-Race: Elven
-Class: Healer
-Status: Wanderering White Mage/Minstrel
-Weapons: Nothing! Laksha's a pacifist. Although, she uses a Harp as an instrument, that's not exactly a weapon.
-Appearence: Soft, very pale skin brushed with soft pink on her cheeks and lips, almond shining silver eyes, small in stature, ears are just pointed, but are about the size of normal human ears( uh... Like an LOTR Hobbit. They aren't biiig elf ears.) Her hair is very long, the color of Freshly fallen snow- it is parted down the middle, with half-bangs(not really bangs... It's more like layered short peices by her cheeks), and two mid-length peices that hang in front of her ears. Her hands are very soft, and her patients often comment so. She gets cold very easily because she is quite flimsy(She's not a fighter, so she has no muscle on her). She dresses in white silk brocades with woven silver, even in the summer, since she chills so easilly. Although she walks barefoot, her entire body jingles with silver jewelry- she has a srung, beaded circlet that lies on the crown of her head, several cuffs on her ears, several silver bangles around her wrists and a few on her ankles, a panja on her left hand(here's what a Panja looks like: A Panja ) She wears a Prayer Box around her neck- (like this -Prayer Box ) and clings to it at night- when her fear is the worst.
-Personality: Gentle, light-stepping, has a pathological fear of death and darkness, loves children and animals, loves singing and playing her harp, goes about the ruins of the Havens searching for those who are lost and downtrodden in an attempt to help them.
-Background: Laksha was just a child when the Havens collapsed, and her Fae Glade was destroyed during a fateful night in the process. She took to the glades of the forest where she grew up with animals who took pity on her and reared her through her childhood and comforted her through her trauma. Although the wounds have enevitably healed, she still blanches at darkness, and will curl up under a blanket fearfully and try to sleep, clutching onto the wool skins. She learned of her healing powers and kindly goes along the woods healing and singing to the hurt and lost, feeling fufilled, but she still has no family, and she can't even remember her mother...

As the endless waves crashed against the shore, the younge centaur paced along the front wall of the castle, her hooves clicking lightly on the stone. In one hand she held a long and sharps glaive; the other hand was busy fingering through her pale hair. Perameth often found herself doing this, her green eyes constantly searching the horizons around her for any other signs of life...

Von strode into the forest that had been his home town for six decades of his long life. He had passed by the guards at the front gate with ease, the armor he wore made not a sound save for the heavy boots that clunked on the ground as he walked on the hard earth. He made his way through the tree homes and village market places as he sought after the one person he felt he could truly open up to and tell his adventures to... his father.

Perameth sighed and continued her trotting along the castle walls. The Haven hadn't been deserted for that many years but, in that time, no one bothered to return.

"Is it truely worth it to stay here as Guardian? Why is no one returning?," she asked herself, her soft voice carrying into the breeze as if never spoken.

Von came down the last few steps of the dirt road with a stoic look locked into his face. He opened the door to this fathers room within the barracks, over the years his father had worked up through the ranks of the army and was able to through a bit of power around the troops. Von found him staring out the window as he usually did at home when he was bored, he had always told Von that he had been looking for a war. As his father turned to see his adopted son enter the room Von smiled and embraced him with a hug.

"Haldin, its been so long, the outside world... it is as you say. I found no answers there to explain why I was different, only the misery that I am different, why is the race of men so unforgiving?"

Haldin looked at his son for a long moment and patted Von on the shoulder.

"You need not concern yourself with the world that men have created, soon they will fall to their own devices and we can once again make the world lush and green as it was, the great ones have a way of working these things out." Haldin said trying to comfort Von.

Von sighed, he had never gotten an answer that ever cheered him up but that was all part of being a drow he had come to reason. Von looked back at his father who had gone over to his desk to retrieve something.

" Von their is something I need from you. Scouts to the south just found an odd set of ruins that was previously unknown to us. We don't know if it may be enhabited or not, I need to you sneak in under the cover of night, your eyes are stronger than all others and your heritage has allowed you to excell at what we cannot. You are the best suited for this mission." Haldin handed Von a map of the ruins location and gave him another reasuring pat on the back. Von took it and nodded.

* * *

After catching up on old times with Haldin and his friends of long times past, Von set out for the southern ruins and to see if he could work his way back into the ranks of the surface elves.

After her usual pacing of the walls, Perameth's pointed ears twitch, her human half stretching up high as if she were expecting something. To her disappointment, nothing came. With a shake of her head, her trotted down toward the city area of the kingdom to make her usual rounds.

Nothing of much interest came to her since she had seen it all before. Her hooves continued to click on the stone walkways and soon she found herself at the main gate of the kingdom. One door stood ajar as she peered out, her curious gaze moving along the open field toward the forest.

"Maybe an adventure wouldn't be so bad. I have yet to see the rest of this world..."

Von makes his way down toward the ruins from higher ground, he had scouted the area twice now, wanting to be double sure that he knew escape routes that he could take and had noted a few sounds and sights inhabiting the ancient site. Von stashed his travel pack in a tree, taking only what he felt would be truly essential for checking the surface and he didn't want to weighed down if he needed to beat a fast retreat. Von crawled along on his belly making his way to the wall before his rolls up to his feet and silently pads along the edge, sticking close to the ends until he spins around the corner, his bow drawn and ready. He slowly makes his way into the ruins.

With a glance back, Perameth starts to make her way out of the Haven's main gate. What was there to defend now? Abandoned building and homes? She strived for an adventure, to see the world she's learned so much about.

Armed with supplies and weapons, Perameth makes herway into the forest, her hooves padded by the soft earth. Her glaive in her right hand, she moves and ducks to avoid low branches, her tail flickering lighting with the excitement of something new. She didn't know where she would go but figured she would find out when she got there.

Von had rolled to the side under a fallen piece of rubble, four arrows slamed into the roof of his cover and bounced harmlessly to the ground. Von swore softly as the sound of bow strings being pulled back sounded in his ears like thunder. He leaned out and loosend three arrows in rapid succession only two finding their mark in one bandits chest. The group had surprised him from his left flank and thought a lone elf, drow or now drow, would be an easy target for their superiour numbers. Even as Von fired his arrows from his place of safety he saw out of the corner of his eye, more men running along the ramparts to fire from his right. Von knew he was screwed if he didn't do something fast. Von finished off the last one that was pinning him behind the stone slab and spun behind a colume that supported a low roof that was the entrance to the deeper workings of the long lost temple. They must be using it as a hide out and armory for their supplies Von thought, this could mean support was on its way and with heavy firepower. Arrows slamed above Von's head and he dropped down again, then turned to fire again. Suddenly, above the din of men hooting that they had a drow in their sights came more footsteps up the hall. Three men dressed in full-plate and wielding axes that could cut a full grown maple in a single swipe came out of the entrance. Von stared in disbelief and fired another three arrows into one, piercing his armor and killing the man, Von dropped the bow and drew out his scimitar and shield. This was going to be a long fight...

Perameth had traveled three hours thus far finding nothing of interest to her. The forest was quiet around her, causing her lower lip to pout slightly. She had come for adventure yet not even a single animal had crossed her path. Yet she continued on, moving up her pace some in hopes of reaching something other than trees. She goal, at the moment, was nowhere to be seen yet she knew the forest held something of interest and she was determined to find it.

Von lay on his back, pushing his shield out with his left hand and foot, driving up as hard as he can against the massive axe, Von swings his scimitar out to his side and slashes the armor plated bandit's foot off, the man fell to the ground with a scream and Von flipped his legs underneath him parried the second man's attack with his sword and thrusted out with his shield and then slamed the flat end into the mans nose, breaking bones and splattering blood across the emblem. Von then dropped flat as the arrows perdictably slammed into the armored man's chest and Von rolled to the side to dodge the third and final assualt. The axe crashing into the ground and spliting marble with each swipe. This one was strong and Von knew that he couldn't hope to parry or block a move from this one. Von came out of his roll and up to his feet and then had to duck once more as the axe sailed over his head and smashed into a colume. Von launched his blade into the slides between the plates of armor that where exposed from under the man's arms. Von had to quickly duck behind the colume as arrows skipped off the marble and popped back up to smake into Von's legs. His bow was a distance from him and most of his arrows had spilled out in his roll. Von was pinned down behind the colume and could only hope the idiots would keep shooting.

After another two hours of running, Perameth began to hear sounds of fighting. Her pace slowed as she neared a sight of ruins. Since she wasn't sure exactly what was going on, she kept her distance to watch though she pulled out her bow quietly and two arrows, just in case. How she could really hide was beyond her since she was sure that her full form couldn't easily be hidden anyway.

As she watched, she began to understand the basics of the fight. A group of men were attacking another, none of which she knew but the fight seemed unfair. "Well...I am a Guardian and I am supposed to help protect..."

Perameth aimed at one man, shooting bother her arrows straight at his back. She then pulled out two more, shooting them at another guy. She continued this routine, not bothering to wait and see if any connected; they would probably notice her soon enough. Centaurs aren't easy to hide.
