I'm pretty darn sure I'm a wind Fae, but what are some disinct features. Some recent changes sincec my awakening are my ears are pointier, I now feel like I have wings, and I have become undeniably good at controling wind.

I suppose that the only real answer here is, only you can tell.
I know next to nothing at all about the Fae. Perhaps it might be worth your while to look up some Celtic mythology or something?
However, if you feel that you are a wind elemented Fae, then you may well be. I suppose the only thing that I can say is, go with your feelings. If that is what you feel, then it is so. Or something like that.. sweatdrop
