[1] No god moding, powerplaying, Mary Sues/Gary Lous, or any other repetitive roleplay crap. That sort of thing needs to be kept away.
[2] Remember to follow Gaia's ToS. Meaning PG-13.
[3] Try and keep spelling and grammar errors to a minimum.
[4] Minimum of three sentences per post. There must be some form of action within each in-character reply. Unless your character is incapable of movement, such as being unconscious.
[5] Do not roleplay with asterisks or any other symbols. Pretend you're writing a book.
[6] Be nice to everyone, even if there is a person here that you hate. Keep that to PMs.
[7] When posting out of character (OOC), use brackets or anything similar. (())'s, [[]]'s, etc.
More rules shall be added when need be.

The glow of twilight fell upon the lush forest of pines and aspens. A faint rush of water could be heard nearby, passing along the rounded rocks gently. It was another night to begin in the ageless forest. This secluded section of our planet has always been hidden from anything that could move on its own. The only instances where a creature may wander the forest, is if they possess any amount of magical energy. For many animals it was quite easy: just call upon their instincts, and they will be there almost instantly. Humans on the other hand, need to be lured in. For many years this was the way to bring in the magically gifted.
Lately some magical beings that despise creatures of non-magical heritage, have been hunting down these new members of the magical world. The strongest ones that are kidnapped are kept for research purposes, while the other ones that are considered weak are... well, you probably do not want to know. Where shall you stand?
In-depth: New magical people are lured into the forest to enter the magical world, because the portal to the planet is in the forest. This story may remind you of Harry Potter, but hey, this isn't Harry Potter now is it? The bad guys are trying to capture all these people, while there are good Samaritans out there that wish to keep the 'newbies' from harm. If more info is needed... more shall be placed.
