Is Valhalla the only place where I'm gonna use energy cells? I'm about to go to the control center on the Homeworld, to get to the Leviathan ship and go to Phaaze. But before I go, I want to know if Valhalla is the only place where I need to use energy cells so I don't waste them and it ends up I need them.

Yes its the only place the Energy cells are good for, besides there are upgrades in the Valhalla you may want.

Yup, the Valhalla is the only place you can use them. *Potential Spoiler* You don't need all of the energy cells. Some of them are used for optional upgrades. However, you won't be able to tell where the upgrades are, and where the necessary paths are, so finding all of the energy cells is the safe choice. *Potential Spoiler End* Besides, the game wouldn't allow you to screw yourself over by using something at the wrong time.

there's one thing that confused me a bit - it's a federation ship,yet somehow there are energy cells on the pirate homeworld... confused

maybe other fed ships fell and the pirates just took the energy cells out
also don't you HAVE to ust all the cells to find the code or i'm i just plain unlucky?
