D': As I'm sure most of us KakaSaku fans know... KakaSaku isn't the most loved pairing in the world of Naruto fandom. D: The usual response I get from people who dislike the pairing is, "Ew! But he's like really old! That'd make him a *****! AND he's her teacher!"
.___.;; Is KakaSaku REALLY considered a *****? I think it's cute... ;___; I've always thought Teacher x Student pairings were cute... >o>;; And shouldn't age not matter when it comes to love? D:
Anyways... -stops pouting- What do you guys think of it? And what do you do when it gets bashed because of it being 'gross' or 'illegal'?
-huggles pairing- ;__; I still love you, KakaSaku!

i absolutely hate that the most - when people bash the pairing because of the age difference and teacher/student relationship. seriously, their age difference is NOT. THAT. BIG. it really isn't, compared to several other instances that i've heard/read/know about. and as for the whole teacher/student thing... i really do not get what's so wrong about it. honestly, a teacher is somebody who spends his/her time every day TEACHING and ASSISTING you with things in order to help make it possible for you to get further in life. it's almost comparable to a friend, really, only a teacher is older and friends don't often have the knowledge or power to assist you in life along with themselves. yet, people end up getting into serious relationships with their friends all the time; how is it different with a teacher? the age difference? bah! ******** the age difference. IT DOES NOT MATTER. if anything, older partners are BETTER. they are more mature, more secure, more sensible, (IMO) more attractive... i mean, jesus. it disgusts me how alot of the people who insult older/younger or teacher/student relationships often believe it's much better to go an whore-out on same-age cute guys. just because they're the same ******** age? puh-LEASE! that is the lamest ******** excuse i've ever heard. grarrgh. >:E i say they go die in a hole. and i also say i will stop here before i implode. wahmbulance burning_eyes
oh, wait, i forgot to answer your question about what i do when people bash the pairing... well... if people are addressing me specifically about it, then i will usually morph into godzilla and bite their heads off, but if i notice them just being idiots and moaning about it randomly, i will often ignore them.

I love KakaSaku, although I was hesitant at first. Is it wrong to be with an older man? Well, kinda, it depends on the age gap. And The KakaSaku age gap is substantial. But that isn't what kept me from it, really, at first. It was, yes, the fact that he's her teacher. There's something just so wrong about that. I see the teacher position as a kind of parental figure that substitutes for the knowledge your parents lack. Thus, I feel teacher/student relationship should be more on the side of 'mentoring' than 'boyfriend'. It's like that old saying that men and women can't be just friends. Come on! Can't you mentor someone and be close to them without trying to get in their pants please? When you're young, you tend to take the side of 'It doesn't matter if it's love!' but you know what, it does matter, at the very least to everyone else it does. The world doesn't run on love and love by itself is not enough to keep two people together. I indulge in reading KakaSaku fanfics mainly because they're cute together and, due to Kakashi's past, I think they would mix well. KakaSaku is the only pairing of this type that I like. But in real life, hell no. Call me an ageist, but older generations are supposed to protect the younger ones, not screw them. And I don't want to hear about how in blahblah century fourteen year olds married 50 year olds, I know and that was sick.

I am a huge fan of Teacher/Student and Adult/ Older teen pairings merely because boys my age are tactless. I'm actually writing a story about Teacher/ Student relationships and I know a lot of people think it's disgusting and assume that it has ***** witten all over it, but it's my weak spot and it's not like they don't have one either. I do get frustrated when people write off Kaka/Saku as creepy or gross just because of the age difference, but honestly, I wouldn't date someone ten years older than me unless they were really close to me. Like a teacher or mentor, for example. Although I don't know Kakashi- Sensei's age, I have to assume that there is quite a gap between his and Sakura's. My parents and friends think it is disgusting but if it's rape or in anyway forced, of course it's wrong and horribel but if it's consensual and natural, then who's to care? Plus, I don't think there's a Statutory Rape law in Konoha.

their age difference isn't actually that much. only 14 years. there have been MUCH vaster cases before, so it really isn't that big of a deal. and about all the people who immediately reject the pairing and regard it as '*****'... they are immature, close-minded, and way too ******** sheltered. honestly, i've got to say out of all the haters... they are the worst. i can't even debate with them seriously without going bonkers.
anyway. don't ever let other people ruin your interests. if you like kakasaku, don't be ashamed. there are always others, like us, who equally cherish the pairing! surprised
by the way, whenever you get around to finishing that story... i'd be very interested in reading it. it's not often i come around teacher/student relationship stories, even though i absolutely adore them~! heart

Maybe it is my age showing... wink But in mho, the age differnce between Kakashi and Sakura really isn't that great. In reality 14 years is really nothing, and as long as the younger of the two is of consenting(legal) age there is nothing moraly wrong with it. biggrin (look at all the very happy celebs couples with big age diffrences)
and as for the Teacher/student thing... well I for one, can say (from personal experince) there is nothing wrong with it, as long as the _close_ "relationship" started after the student was legal.
I as a whole, I ignore the 'haters' for this pairing(and a few others I 'ship in other fandoms) just on the princpal. I they are going to be close minded twits dramallama ... they are not worth my time. razz

The age difference doesn't bother me, nor does the teacher/student relationship. I prefer to pair Kakashi and Sakura when she is 18+ (though I give exception to 'Seven Days' by SilverShine)

Well, I definitely don't support *****. However, I think that when it comes to love, age differences are acceptable. If they really love one another, even if it's against society's wishes, then I think they deserve to be together happily. I was disgusted by the pairing at first, but reading some highly well-written fanfics made me realize that things like this should be tolerated. I mean, if two people are really in love, whether they're homosexual or rather different in age gap, shouldn't they be allowed to be happy too? My personality is just really tolerant of everything. Maybe I'm just being too optimistic, but that's the way I see it.
