Part of me was surprised, and part of me knew what was coming when Vanny said he was the stone. i was like, "Oh, now everything makes sense!"


And part of me knew that Izumi would definetly play a major role (she already has, kind of), ever since father was all like, "And the boys' teacher, Izumi Curtis" when he was talking about sacrifices.

And learning all about Vanny's past was cool and all but I want my Al now!!


Oh, and I'm gonna guess now: Hoho will help get Al's body back! He might even sacrifice himself.

But Al has no choice but to get his body back if he wants to live. I can't see Arakawa killing him off, so there must be some way. I think Ed will keep his metal limbs, but I do believe Al will get his body back. What do you think of this scenario:
Al's soul starts to slip away and everyone panics. Ed freaks and sacrifices himself for Al's body. Hohenheim, being the philosopher's stone and loving both of his sons, then sacrifices himself to bring Ed back at the last minute , because Ed wouldn't have really died, he'd just been traded in and was still stuck in the gate and did not go beyond. Afterwards, the brothers would still be alive and Hohenheim would either be dead or maybe his body would have just been ripped apart from the stone.
Yeah... that's my theory, but who knows? Arakawa, that's who. And no one else.

When I was reading the scans, I got to the page where they were doing the huge transmutation of Xertes, and saw Hoho's picture, I was all like "Why did he grow that god damn beard!"

I swear to God, if Arakawa gives Ed facial hair before he turns 50 or 60 or something, I'm going to be upset. Then I'm going to write a fanfiction where he shaves it all off.

Curses! He only looks about 40 in that picture! *reads little number* Oh... he is 40. Damn Arakawa's good. (What art book is that from btw?) Honestly... you really know how to know a fandom inside and out, Quichey my friend.

Letishia's Random Crappy Fanfiction

Edward Elric had, for reasons unknown to humanity, decided not to shave for a while. Perhaps it was because Winry had been out on an away job and he just got lazy. Perhaps it was because he thought it made him look older. Perhaps it was because he accidently dropped his only razor on a transmutation circle and it fell into the gate where the Truth stole it. The sadistic little b*****d. Whatever the reason, it highly displeased a certain fangirl. Thus, this story was written.

It so happened that Ed decided to visit his brother's house. Al had hooked up with Paninya because the fanfiction author willed it and they had had nine children together, as well as nine cats with nine lives each. See a pattern here? Ed brought over his youngest kid with him.

"Why do you have hair on your face Uncle Edward?" a random kid of Al's asked.

"The Tru... God stole my razor," said Edward.

"I knew he would never have grown it out on purpose!" said the obsessed fanfiction author.

Al decided that his brother was probably going insane because of all the junk food he'd eaten while Winry was away. Therefore, Al fatefully decided that he would feed his supposedly ravenous brother. He made Ed some juicy steak, and the steak juice slid down into Ed's beard. When Ed stood up, all of Al's nine cats (and one of his weirded kids) attacked Ed's chin.

"They're eating my face!" Ed yelled.

On the way home with his kid, Ed bought a razor so he could shave again. The man behind the counter almost didn't let him by it because Ed looked particuarly dangerous with blood all over his clothes and neck, but Ed threatened him and got his razor.

Before Ed could shave, however, Winry can home from her trip and saw that Edward had a beard.

"You should shave." she told Edward.

"Thanks for the warm welcome," Ed replied in a tone that screamed verbal irony. "I was just about to shave now."

"Well transmute my wrench for me first, please?" Winry asked. "It broke when I hit it against something... hard."

Ed winced, then proceeded to use alchemy to fix the wrench. The Truth, who still liked to annoy Edward, realized that Ed was holding the razor in a bag while transmuting the wrench and stole it.

"Now what am I going to do!" Edward whined.

"You can use my hacksaw." Winry suggested.

So Ed shaved off his facial hair with Winry's hacksaw and all was right with the world again.

Haha... it amused me to write it, but I'm doing essays for college aps and I kinda just pulled it out of my a** in a matter of minutes. Made the whole thing up as I went along. xd

I only have the first artbook and I've looked through the second one. Maybe it's in the thrid? I'd have remembered that pic if I'd seen it before.

Dammit!
