Anybody remember the Buffy Bringers? Back in early 2000, Fox was cracking down on Buffy websites hard core. Most of the best fan sites were being shut down, or told to remove all content that had anything to do with Buffy.
The Buffy Bringers were a group of dedicated webmasters (read: geeks with no lives) who were dedicated to stopping Fox from destroying Buffy Fandom. We made trendy little banners to put on our websites, wrote letters to Fox telling them to cut it out, and as far as I can tell, made absolutely no impact whatsoever. Does anybody know how the whole Buffy Bringer thing officially ended, or did it just fade into obscurity?

I don't know, mostly likely I believe they faded away, because I noticed once season 7 ended of Buffy, most of the fansites slowly closed down, so maybe the Buffy Bringers just gave up slowly after the decline in Buffy fansites.

Oh, I've never heard about them, maybe because I'm kinda a new fan of the series. But yea I guess they stopped once the Buffymania slowly died down after the show ended.
