:Info: This roleplay was set up to be a spin-off of my Fanfiction, Contemplating Akatsuki. And of course, there's spoilers. My sisters and I encourage you to join, and if you want to have your original character in it, You'll have to wait until people have filled in the other 4 positions, sorry. It shouldn't take long, though. Oh, and another thing, if your original character is put into the Roleplay, there's a good chance s/he will be in the Fanfiction, also. With credit to the player, of course. So, enjoy.
Notice: Until the Naruto Akatsuki Members are filled in, they will be RPed by Tamika and I. You know, so the storyline advances for those who just want to read it.
To those who wish to join: Please go to the RP character info page and read up on Sephiroth`s Mistress and Tamika Uchiha's Storyline Info, then PM me. :Akatsuki::Team 1: -Kassandra Dractnogon: Sephiroth`s Mistress- -Itachi Uchiha- -Kisame Hoshigaki-:Team 2: -Tamika Uchiha: Tamika Uchiha- -Deidara: Aurora Maryte- -Sasori- : Other Original Characters : -Tsuruke-

((Now..Let the fun begin...))
As the dim, dawn sun began to wink through the trees, Kassandra slowly pulled out of her trance and started to look around. She never slept...she had no use of sleep, she just would stake out a secluded place somewhere, and sit and think.
What whould life have been like if she had finished her sentence in purgatory? The "Higher" Powers had promiced her that she would become an ascended being had she atoned for her sins...but now what to do? Living again wasn't really what she wanted....she didn't know what she wanted.....Well, that what her trance usually lingered on. But, now as she began to "awaken" she looked at her surroundings.
She was sitting on the slanted rooftop of an inn, with the balcony to her and her team-mates' room below her. They were in a beautiful village of the water country, for miles the water beyond the village stretched. With the new morning sunlight, the cool liquid gleamed and shimered...the sight was beautiful. People passing the building looked up to see what a misterious, dark-clothed woman was doing on the rooftop, but then waved off the question.
With a sigh, Kassandra pushed off the rooftop, and stood on tiptoe at the edge. Her cloak ruffled loosely in the wind, as it wasn't fastned at the moment. Without even looking down, she jumped from her perch and landed with a light tap on the balcony below her, and behind, from the doorway, she heard a startled noise.
"By the Gods, Kassi. What are you doing, sneaking around at the crack of dawn?"
Kassi turned, to see a startled Kisame standing in the doorway behind her. He already had his cloak on, and fastened, but his headband was handing loosely from his hand, and his bight blue hair was ruffled messily.
"Are you scared of me?" "What? No...Never!" "Right...and I don't see that look in your eyes...." "I...uh..."
Kisame stuttered nervously, and broke eye contact with his teammate, staring somewhere over her shoulder. It's odd that someone like Kisame could be intimidated by a woman who was even an inch or two shorter than him. A slight smirk appeared on Kassandra's face as she slowly pulled Kisame's headband from his grasp, and slid it over his hair, to its normal position, over his ears and forehead.
"You better hurry up getting ready, before Itachi gets irritated, and throws one of his tantrums."
Without another word, Kassandra resumed her normal indifferent expression, walked around him, and back into the room, shutting the door lightly behind her. The large bed at the opposite end of the room was neatly folded, but there was a slight impression that there had been two people sleeping in it the night before. She closed her eyes for a moment, trying to clear her mind of the flood of disturbing images before she continued to the door, and lightly pushed it open. A simple filck of her wrist, and her straw hat, and its white tassles were concealing her face. As she walked, she fiddled with the fastenings of her cloak, sealing it shut, to make sure her features were completely hidden. She slowed down when she reached the stairs, as not to fall down them.
When she set foot on the floor, a simple glance over at the bar told her that Itachi was trying to drown his sorrow yet again. Kassandra made her way slowly toward the young man, and took a seat next to him. From the look upon the part of his face that could be seen, it looked as though he was trying to console his tea. With a shake of her head, Kassandra tapped her fingers lightly on the counter to get the bartender's attention and ordered a glass of Sake.
She nodded when the drink was sat in front of her, then glanced around slightly to see if anyone was in earshot. "What's today's plan?" she mumbled to her team-mate.
He lightly traced the rim of his glass with his forefinger, before replying, "We're supposed to move to a new location, that's all." then continued to be absorbed in his drink.

Kassandra remained silent, and thought for a moment about what really was going to happen.
Turning back to her Sake, Kassi drained the glass in one gulp, then sat it back upon the counter. Itachi was the best drinking buddy, for the fact that he just sat there, with or without you, in silence. Which gave our girl more time to think. ....Hmm...Sake...Who did it remind her of? Oh, that's it. Jiraiya. When it came to drinking, he was the exact opposite of Itachi. Rambunxious, Loud, and...Happy.
Kassandra hadn't been happy since the day that Yondaime died...and boy, did she miss him.
A slight tap on her shoulder pulled her gently out of the trance, and a low friendly voice behind her murmured, "Aren't you two just the life of the party? You need to brood a little more." The hand upon Kassandra's shoulder belonged to her sharky team-mate. Itachi had already risen from his seat, and was heading towards the door, so Kassandra followed suit with Kisame right next to her.
The three of them, clothed in their cloaks and straw hats, looked fairly odd walking down the path out of the village together. Itachi walked a couple paces ahead of the other two, whom walked side-by-side. Since the few short years Kassandra had been in their group, she had really bonded with Kisame..Which made it harder and harder to concentrate on her true mission. In order to justify the deaths of her former family, would she have to betray the last friends she has left?
Without Kassandra taking notice, they had arrived at the point where the houses around the path met with the forest, and the trail curved out of sight through dense foliage. For several hours, the three continued in complete silence, not even hearing their own footsteps in the vast wilderness. But in a change of heart, Kisame broke the silence. "Where are we headed to, exactly?"
Even looking at the back of his head, Kassandra could tell that Itachi rolled his eyes at the question, but he answered anyways. "To a village on the outer edge of the Fire Country."
"Oh."
At that exact moment, they emerged from the forest. Village wasn't the word for this place....It was a city. From their view, Kassandra could see crisscrossing streets lined with all different kinds of buildings. To her right, she could sense Kisame's awestruck feelings. This place was twice the size of Kohonagakure, yet it didn't even seem to phase Itachi, who soldiered on. The group headed down main street, and Kassandra chuckled to herself as she felt heads turning to watch the strangers. At the end of the street was an enormous Hotel that was titled "The Nocturnal Kitsune", which Itachi led them into.
A large smile appeared on the face of the receptionist, even though he looked extremely frightened of his new customers. "Sirs and Madam, do you heve reservations?"
With a simple nod, Itachi spoke, "Top floor."
The man reached down and picked up a set of keys from a shelf under the desk, and handed them to Uchiha-sama. As usual, Itachi hurried to get away from the crowds of people that were in the reception room, most of them had been watching the Akatsuki from the moment the group walked in.
Just like Itachi had said, they had a room on the highest floor-15 stories up. It was fairly large, but with one problem....there was only one bed, and even though it was large, that simple fact would cause a very complex problem. The second that Kisame closed the door and locked it, he sighed heavily, and fiddled with the clasps of his cloak, and pulled it off his shoulders, along with his straw hat, and threw the articles of clothing onto one of the chairs that was assumed to be the sitting area. Glaring at the huge glass door at the far side of the room, the shark plopped down on the bed and stretched out, laying down with a sigh. His toothy shark grin closely resembled that of a snarl, if one had not known him for as long as Itachi and Kassandra had, that is.
That huge glass door led to a balcony facing out the back, over the forest, towards the west. The sun was almost gone over the horizon, as Kassandra walked towards the door, slid it open, and walked out there. Itachi had silently followed her, watching as she turned and sat on the railing. The Uchiha crossed his arms, leaning onto the railing himself. As usual, he stood in silence. Kassandra thought her little plan over as she looked back into the room where Kisame reamined. She slid off her cloak, hanging it over the balcony, letting her halaberd lean against the railing. Lastly, she pulled the straw hat off her head, and tossed it, like a frisbee at kisame, making it land on his face. The shark smiled, looking at his two solemn conpanions. Kassi turned to Itachi.
"Is the Akatsuki actually giving us a break?"
Itachi shrugged. "They wanted us to stay here for the time being."
"Is that all?" she sighed, looking back toward the sunset. "Let's hope that they don't have anything up their sleeves that would be too malicious towards us-" the woman had barely finished her sentence when a kunai came from the direction of the woods and stuck into the middle of her back. She gritted her teeth, and fell backward , off the 15th story balcony.
"Kassandra!" Kisame jumped to his feet, and ran to the balcony, leaning on the railing. From what he could see, Kassandra was out of view, no where to be found.

-just read what's going on- Nevermind....I don't think a 13 year old would be fitted to RP in such a way. Did you write this before you typed it? Or it just came to mind as you wrote it? o.O I am awed...by such writing skills...is there a fanfiction with this storyline somewhere? I'd love to read it.:3

Who do you want to be? For now, Itachi and Kisame are not available, but you could be anyone else, even an original character.

There was a reason that the two Akatsuki didn't see their teammate. Below their balcony, on the ground, was a large tree, which she had neatly grabbed a hold of, and swung into the obscurity of the leaves. With her superb hearing, she listened to Kisame and Itachi.
"Kassandra!" Silence. "Itachi, are you just going to sit there?! That fall could've killed her!" "She's a Sennin. I am sure that she will end up alright." "Why do you always jump to conclusions?! She could be in trouble! All the area down there is wooded-" "You know the facts. Jounin and above ranked ninja are no longer considered human. She's gotten out of worse struggles than this." "b*****d."
The door shut loudly, and Kassi silently slipped from the trees and into the underbrush. She made haste as she ran through the foliage, towards an outer village of Kohonagakure. By then, it was already darkness, and as she stood in the outer line of trees, and searched the neraest building for signs of life. 20 yards away from her was a tall man. His clothes were red, and his long silvery hair that traveleddown his back was tied back at a loose ponytail at the base of his neck. The man was leaned against the building with his arms crossed loosely, and from this angle, Kassandra could make out that he had a teleportation kunai clenched in his fingers.
Kassandra calmly walked out of the forest, and stood next to the man. "Perfect plan."
He slowly looked over at her. "I was afraid that I hit someone else sitting on that balcony. You've changed during the 5 years you've been gone."
Kassandra took the kunai from his hands. "Only you could hit a human-sized target from a mile and a half away."
"We Sennin are a dying breed." he grabbed her lightly by the shoulder. "C'mon. We need to have a little chat."
The two of them walked into the building, that was found out to be an inn. He guided her up a set of stairs, and to a secluded hallway. There, he opened one of the rooms, and ushered her in, locking it behind them. From what she could see, the room was made for only one person, but there was a second door on the left wall that ajoined with another room.
Jiraiya always seemed like he could read her mind. "The room behind that door is where Team 7 is staying for a while. But, I suppose you already knew that they were in this building, because the Akatskui are having you ambush us."
She nodded. "Itachi wouldn't say anything, but I had a feeling that was what was going to happen."
as she was staring at the door, it opened, and another white-haired man stapped into the room. A mask covered the bottom half of his face, and his headband sagged down to obscure his left eye. His hair was short, and spiked up, and the woman could see a slight smile behind the mask as he closed the door behind himself.
"Jiraya was right, you have changed. This is the first time in almost 20 years that I've seen you out in the open without the bottom half of your face covered."
Jirayia raised his eyebrows. "I knew you were missing something."
Kassandra shrugged, crossing her arms over her chest. "I know you two didn't contact me just to catch up on old times."
"Actually, that's part of it." Kakashi's smile faded from his masked face.
"What?"
Jiraya spoke as he fished something from his pocket. "I thought you would've heard, but I guessed the Akatsuki kept it from you. There's been a change in Hokage.Sandaime was murdered by the two former Hokages. So, us Sennin had to choose a new Hokage. If you had been here, you'd be the new Hokage, I am sure, however..." he handed a scroll to her. "We're doing the best we can, but keeping everything together is difficult."
Kassandra unrolled the scroll, quickly scanning all the information. "Damnit. Does the new Hokage know about my mission?"
With a nod, Kakashi replied. "Yeah. It's Tsunade."
"That's what I had guessed. What else is there that you wanted me to know?"
"You still take everything in stride...Well, we need you to help us." Jiraiya shook his head.
"With what?"
"Your Akatsuki mission. Sasuke's pent up a lot of anger against one of your teammates. To the point where he wants to annihlate him. I'm sure you figured that out last time your team encountered us." Kakashi started. "The thing is, we need you to make sure that the boy doesn't get himself into too much trouble. Meaning, we need you to keep Itachi from killing him."
"Right." she realized that Jirayia's kunai was still clenched in her fingers. "You want this back?"
"Nope. In fact, that's the other thing we need to talk to you about. The second half of your mission has started. Tsunade wants you to finish the job."
"She wants me to kill them?"
"Not that, either. She wants you to bring them back alive."
"What?! She knows how much power Itachi commands, but has she even bothered to look through Kisame's files? He's a goddamn Shark Demon, for crying out loud! Does she really expect me to bring "the shark of the mists" back to Kohonagakure alive?"
"Yeah. She wants both of them. I thought she had gone off her rocker, but her word is law, now." Jirayia finished with a sigh. "Can you do it?"
"You underestimate me. i may not like it, but I'll be able to finish this. That's why this is a teleportation kunai, correct? That's how she wants me to bring them back?"
"Yeah. But not right away. Take your time, as long as it's not over two years." Kakashi nodded two her. "Good luck."
"What makes you think luck is involved?" she walked to the window, pushing it open. "Two years, then. I'll be back within that time." Without another word, she was out the window, making sure she didn't get back to her teammates before the sun rose, so she took her time.
