 Hellsing is an anime/manga/OVA by Kouta Hirano. Hellsing is about an organization in England, named Hellsing (after the founder who defeated Dracula). The Hellsing organization exists to kill vampires and ghouls. To do this, they use the very powerful vampire Alucard, servant of Integra Hellsing, and his newly turned vampiress, Seras Victoria. And, to the subject I suspect you are the most interested in: yuri possibilities. There's plenty! Slightly less than the yaoi possibilities (as usual), but it's there. There's plenty of gore and guns, and insanely cool vampires. :'D

I liked the story, I love Integra, Alucard, Anderson, Walter and Enrico Maxwell and really dislike Seras.
Hellsing anime is terribly bad animated, and they tried to put too much stories in very few episodes.
I HIGHLY reccomend the OVAs and the manga more than the anime.

I agree with you. The OVAs and manga is much more worth it than the anime series.

Y'know I always felt that there wasn't any real yaoi in that series. Just het and yuri. >3 That being said, I LOVE Integra/Ceras. They would be so incredibly hot together. I think one of my favorite moments is around vol 8 (I believe) of the manga. London under siege, Integra's in danger and Ceras just shows up out of no where, looking terribly awesome and ready to kick butt and protect her boss. I think it was the dialogue between them was what did it for me. heart

Hm... I just reread the manga, with my mind set at yuri, and it's incredible how much possibilites I discovered. I guess it's all a matter of perception...
And I realised another thing. I love Zorin! mrgreen

I haven't read or watched nearly enough of this series, but I really do like the core characters as I've seen them very much. Seras and Integra would indeed make a pretty hot pairing, as would...say, throwing Alucard in and creating any pairing combination from those three.
I think the best scene I've ever seen was an Integra x Seras subtext-ish fanservice scene, where Seras is struggling with her biological need and newborn vampiric desire to consume blood and her moral position that doing so is wrong. That scene, with the finger/blood, has become rather infamous in a good way. And for good reason.

Hmm, I think I liked Integra best, personally, but I only watched and read a little bit of the series, I haven't gotten around to figuring out the rest of it.

why yes anderson was the crazy preist with glasses (even die-hard hellsing fans agree he's nuking futs) also the character heinkel wulff from the bonus stories in the manga is great. and later on yet another great character shows up named pip (perverted french mercenary)

Anderson, The Captain and Seras are my favorite characters Hellsing is one of the best mangas I've ever read The story is well composed and the characters are deep and have good backgrounds without the constant background stories of Naruto and the artwork is supreb I give it a 5/5

I watched pretty much the whole series in two days.
Then I was sitting there, thinking, "What? That's it? More!"
The yuri bit that I saw was when Integra's "sister"~who is actually some random vampire chickie~comes into her office and takes off Integra's shirt.
That made me giggle like...a giggling thing whose brain just died.
