We have been discussing getting a mule for the guild in What do you want to see happen? Now the mule it's self has got it's own discussion thread. Right now, let's get some suggestions for what it should look like, what it should be called, and should the guild even have a mule? Suggestions (to be voted on later) What should the mule be called?Random Pickle Bishie Redundant Non-Sequitor Pickled Bishie What should the avitar look like?Lynwood (an old guild member who looked like the guy in the first banner, he's in the animations, getting his legs chopped off) A pretty young man in pink and green Paul Tarus from Kingdom Hospital (and then we could call him Pickled Bishie 4laugh ) Please tektek other ideas or variants on these ideas.

I say... call the mule Random Pickle Bishie. Why not? And while I have no idea what Lynwood looks like (need to go check), I still vote for the pretty young man in pink and green. I have my own reasons for agreeing wholeheartedly with this, most of which involve a character from and obscure anime/manga series I enjoy. Any chance of giving him long-ish green hair to match the green part of his clothes? sweatdrop 4laugh Whee...Shun!

[edit] like this guy?

Looking at the potentals avis, and as much as I like Lynwood and Paul, I've got to say I like the idea of the mule being colorful.

[edit] like this guy? What do you mean "like this guy?" I mean that guy, specifically. I'll tektek some of my ideas, and try to make it original-ish. Probably. Don't be surprised if he ends up with green hair, though. P.S. While I like the series he's from, the dubbed version sucks horribly. Don't judge the series on the dub, if you're seen it.

An extremely simple proof that I'm very used to designing female avatars. I'll do another one or two later when I'm feeling a bit more original, and next time I'll try to restrain myself from green hair. ...If I restrain myself from green, though, my designs of "Random Pickle Bishie" or whatever he ends up called will probably all end up with pink or silver hair... sweatdrop xp

You like the idea of a colorful mule, Kittywitch? So do I. Unfortunately, it appears that as I'm rather unaquainted with the male clothing options, the closest thing you'll be getting to colorful from me is a very figurative rainbow, if you get my drift. (I'd better try a different color combination and maybe without jewelry...)

*blinks* I'm going to stop posting my designs now, I think. Maybe someone else should do a few.

I have never seen that show, dubbed or otherwise... but I am familar with dubbed verisions sucking.
In fact, the only thing I've seen where I liked the american verison better was Danish, not Japanese. Oddly enough, one of the characters is the inspiration for the "pickled bishie" design, as he was a pretty young man who soaked in formaldehyde half the time.
ZOMYGODS, ANYONE WHO KNOWS WHAT KINGDOM HOSPITAL IS (Willow)! How much a** would a japanese kingdom hospital kick?

Kingdom Hospital! I saw a marathon of that on SciFi this summmer, and it was amazing!
Wait a minute, I'm on my other account, aren't I? sweatdrop This is Liara, if you haven't guessed yet. *sigh*
Shall we sing the "dubs suck" song? It's so hard to find Saint Seiya subbed in English. The store I got two of the DVDs from (one as a gift) moved out of town, and the only episodes I can find on YouTube are subbed in Spanish. My Spanish isn't quite good enough for that - I'm too slow at reading it to be sure to keep up. And the art of the manga is far less impressive than that of the anime. It's frustrating sometimes.
I'll maybe try some designs for the other themes later.
Edit: Wait, those others are specific designs. Never mind, I'll just do more of what I was making already. Whatever happend to Lynwood, anyways?

The Paul design is rather nice, I must admit. But it'd take a while to get enough gold for that design, not to mention the tavern itself, wouldn't it? I'm actually rather fond of my third design, surprisingly enough. So...nobody's answered yet. Whatever happened to Lynwood? The name sounds oddly familiar...

Well, back before the guild was actually a guild, he just randomly showed up one day. He hung out here for a couple months, got in the habit of calling me "Lady Wench" and was generally a nice guy to hang out with on the internet. Then he left Gaia.
He actually was posting in the triple-R before Charlemain, and he's ancient.
Seeing as we mentioned the name Lynwood, which is hardly a commen name, before he posted, and he looked like the guy on the first banner, we never figured out if he was an actual person or not.

Hm... I could have sworn I'd heard the name Lynwood somewhere else previously. Apparently, I was wrong. But what do you mean "never figured out if he was an actual person or not"? You mean like some random mule account or something? Because there's no way that someone actually having an interactive conversation wasn't a person in some way, shape, or form. Regardless, that's an interesting, if weird, story.

Well, you know how some people have mules with different personalities then themselves? They don't mean to decieve, it's just roleplaying. Sometimes I got the feeling he was one of those controled by someone I knew in real life, because he knew things he shouldn't have been able to.
And he appeared to have modeled his name and appearence after the young gentle I had a crush on at time, so... Man, did that weird out the real guy when he saw it.
