Well, hacking is a big deal right now, or awlays was. True there are many hacking reports that they have to go over and it takes a long time. But when you submit a hacking report they state they'll get to you in a few weeks/days. I contcted a mod about this and they said a few months. They either need a larger team to go over hacking reports or make hacking reports more of a priority.

My story is mainly this.

I opend up a shoppe selling alot of old letters/donation items/jack sets/etcetc. I left it up overnight and went to work the next morning. When I got home, about 12 hours after the shoppe was open I found myself to be hacked.

Apparently someone claimed that I hacked them this is not true. they pretended to be saying they themselves were hacked, I was the hackee. Within 3 hours of them saying that a mod gave the real hacked my password and the hacker immedatly began to give away my stuff, sell all my stuff, and state that they were quiting Gaia.

First off, if I was to quit Gaia why would I make a big deal bout getting my account back? The hacker pretty much wanted my stuff and gave it away (reason unknown). I really don't know what their main pririties were with hacking into me.

I immedatly began posting under names I had that were listed in my original profile (before the hacker changed them. I managed to grab a snapshot of it before it was changed)



There you can clearly see many names, Including Chikadori. Lucklily enough I used Chikadori for 2 years and used her to start the Otakon Convention thread and guild. I also did a few maijor things on Chikdori that directly linked me to be Tamoko. Now how can I have acess to all of the names on that list but not Tamoko? Also, for those who have known me for over 4 years on Gaia it was clear to them that I was hacked.

And how could it be denied I am the true Tamoko? I immedatly stated I had evidence of things nthat later scanned in and took images of with MY FACE in them. You can go to my http://www.myspace.com/appuru_garu to see that I am clearly who I say I am.

This is what is shocking to me. A mod told me that any proof I provide that I am who I say I am can not be used.

I have real life comissions of art of my avatar, Tamoko. The artists know who I am Chikadori AND Tamoko. Their word is not proof enough? I'm holding the orignal in my hand right now and the artist is vouging for me yet you cast it off?

Now, the mods did freeze the account and they retrived -some- of the items, im not sure if all. And I am also not sure what I am missing.

I know the main things that i had [will not be listed] and I only care for 5 items.

I asked a mod to comtact me back to ressure me of SOMETHING so I wouldnt be freaking out all night but all they could say was IT'LL TAKE A FEW MONTHS.

But what is the main problem here? That within 3 hours a mod allowed a hacker into my account with little, if any proof.

Now what needs to be done? What can I do?

it's been about one month and I still have no word about the situation.
