Tivia was running, running faster and harder than she had done in quite some time. She'd gotten some sort of SOS from Nunia, telling her to meet her back at the small house that they'd all built after the reunion. Though none of them really lived here, it was a place they could go occassionally that they all knew where it was. An easy meeting place.
And this had been one of those times. Tivia had been hunting around in the forest, trying to find some decent sticks to shave down and weave with, when she got a sense from Nuni telling her to meet her at the halfway house. So, Tivia ran.
The house in sight now, Tivi sped up, climbing the stairs and bursting through the door, only to find Nuni laying lazily in one of the armchairs that Tivi herself had weaved for them. Out of breath and bracing herself against the wall, Tivi looked at the other, slightly confused. "What... was the big... emergency? Are you... all right...?"

Nunia sat up in the chair. "Did you run here? I didn't mean to scare you.. I just wanted.. To say hi. Catch up, even.." After the second winning over Azrael, the group broke up again. Only this time, Ososuki left too. Being all by herself, Nunia found and lived with her old wolf pack, the wolf mind suppressing humanoid memories.
Changing back during an incident with hunters, the memories came back and Nunia wondered what had happened to her friends.

Tivia narrowed her eyebrows and just looked at Nuni for a moment. The only sound that broke into the room was the heavy breathing coming from the spellcaster's parted lips. "Of course... I ran here... You told me... ASAP..."
Plopping herself down into a chair, her narrowed gaze was still focused on the girl next to her. "I hate you..." A small smile played at the corners of her lips, and it was clear that she was trying to supress it and give the illusion that she was actually angry.

Seeing the small smile, she grinned back. "I did? I'm sorry for assuming you had magical powers.. And I hate you too." Nunia almost immediately began laughing at herself.

She sighed, her breathing returning slightly normal once more and grinning back. "Indeed I have powers, but you know how I hate to use them to perform tasks that I'm perfectly capable of doing myself..." Jesus, it was like the girl didn't know her at all anymore. But, still, other than Dem, Nuni had to be the one person from the group that Tivi actually managed to get close to, and she couldn't deny that she had feared for the girl's life when she got the message from her.
"Good to know we share a mutual hatred." She nodded, reclining back in the chair a little to actually relax. "So, catch up, eh?"

"Even if it kills you," she added, knowing Tivia would probably, in fact, give up her live for any of her friends. As they would do for her.
Nunia nodded back. "Yes.. Hatred.." She laughed a bit. "Yeah, catch up. I lost track of everyone when I went back to the wolves.."

"You know me, stubborn as hell..." She laughed quietly. It felt good to be here with Nuni, actually. As much as she had been focused on finding good sticks to weave with, it was great to be able to come back here and just catch up with a good friend.
"Right, I forgot you went with the wolves... how did that work out for you?"

"It worked out fine until some hunters came looking for us. I had to set them straight as humanoid and all my suppressed memories came back.. I wish I knew what happened to Suki.."

Ososuki sighed as he sat down on his bed. He had checked into an iin in a town miles away from the forest...

Tivi's expression fell slightly as she heard these words. She wondered what happened to Suki. This means that she didn't know. Sighing a little, her expression turned serious. "You didn't hear, then, I take it..."
She played it off long, letting the silence drag out between them as Tivi looked like she was thinking of what to say next. How she could possibly word what she was about to say. "Dem gave me the news a little bit ago... I'm surprised no one told you..."
Sighing once more, Tivi's gaze hit the floor, as if this was hard to say. Forcing herself to look back up at Nuni, she spoke slowly, "After we defeated Alph, Pi and I took the body back into the woods a ways and started working to revive him. When we split you and Suki, we tried putting him into Alph's body that we fixed up... we failed..."
Stopping again, Tivi took a deep breath. "So... we merely had to fashion him a body of his own. And between Pi's goddess-ness and my spellcasting, I'd say we did a pretty good job." Tivi smiled over at Nuni, waiting for the stream of curses, insults, and flying objects that may follow after that kind of tension and making Nuni think something was wrong with Suki.

Nunia listened intently up until the end. "Tivi!.. When- how- Why didn't anyone tell me?! Where's Suki at?" She glared at her friend, waiting for an answer.

Tivia shrugs, being genuine now. "I honestly couldn't tell you. He was thankful for his body, but he took off shortly after we put him safely inside."

Ososuki sighed, lighting up a pipe as he started to smoke... it helped to calm his nerves. He scratched his cheek, feeling the stubble there... he'd let his body's get a little shabby over his travels... shoulder length hair set into a pony tail, a soul patch to go with the stubble... clothes ripped and stained a little. He scratched behind his right fox ear, wondering if anyone was still left in the forest and if he should visit them....

"No one's tried to contact him? Out there in the world of man, you've all forgotten about each other?" She stood up. "I-I-I should go look for him. If I had known he was alive, I would've stayed longer.." She head for the door.

Tivi stood and beat her to the door, standing with her back against it. "No... don't go out there yet... try mindspeaking to him.. find out where he is." She looked Nuni firmly in the eye. "I don't want you wondering around out there... you could get yourself in trouble... nowadays, anyone can get themselves in trouble out there..."
