Please post here which Greco-roman diety or dieties you would like to see given houses in the guild. If you intend to align yourself with Olympus, your opinion is doubly appreciated, but those favoring the Land of Night or Faerie may also voice their opinion here.

I believe that Athena would be a good choice to include, as she is revered by many people and is goddess of many important things. Another good option would be Apollo, as the arts are a wonderful subject to have opportunities to share. Lastly, I'd like to suggest Hestia, for the more... mundane practices.

Also, though it doesn't have anything to do with the Olympians, it would be a good idea to have a neutrally-aligned Fey Pantheon. We have 'good' and 'bad', but things don't always fall into those categories.

Apollo would be good to have, being the god of spiffy things like art, music, healing, and the sun. His twin sister Artemis is another suggestion. She is a darker, wilder option, being the goddess of the moon, the hunt, and as Hecate, witchcraft.

Athena is definitely a strong option. How do you feel about combining Artemis and Apollo? I know they have the sun-and-moon opposition thing going on, but they are both strongly associated with archery. And they are siblings.

Natorei - the four Elemental Courts are pretty neutral. Do you think there are enough fey who don't fall into one of those six categories to warrant a Partially Seelie Court?

I think that the Apollo-Artemis combination would be good.

Yeah, that makes sense. I can do that. -^^-

The Apollo-Artemis combination sounds like a good plan. I'm definitely for it!

Ok. Artemis-Apollo, Athena... would Hestia-Demeter be pushing it? Hecate might not make the cut - many of her fans will probably end up in the Land of Night.

We're a little goddess-heavy. Maybe a god or two.

Zues would probably be good, since he's the most commonly known Greek God.

Yeah, and possibly a Hermes, and maybe Hephaestus.

Hecate and Ares would work well together.

Indeed, no Greek pantheon is complete without Zeus. Because he throws thunderbolts. And fathered approximately five billion Greek gods and heroes.

This is true. xd
And a sky god is always a good thing.

Not sure how well Ares would work with Hecate - she tends to be very subtle, while Ares just... isn't, as a rule. And I'm tempted to skip him if Athena is included, since she covers war as well as wisdom. Hermes is a good idea, though.

I think we're right about ready to launch.
Zeus, Athena, Hermes, Hestia, Apollo/Artemis.

Good. Three up and two to go, fact-checking pending.

What about dragons?
What category would they be under?

Dragons are usually very reclusive and neutral, like the Fae.
They don't concern themselves with others, unless you have something they want;
like treasures for their hoard.

So I guess they'd probably be a category of their own.

Dragons... certainly not on Olympus. We may put aside a subforum for dragons at some point, although it's more likely they'll get put in a "beasts" subforum.

If you'd be particularly interested in a Dragon patron, I could make a sticky in Limbo for that.
