Welcome to Potions Class's official Halloween Celebration thread!
Greetings. I am The Pumpkin Puppet. I'm so happy you've arrived... As you can see, I have a small collection of masks and costume parts which have been gathering dust in the basement. I kept them right next to the portable torture rack and in front of the electric chair. Oh, how I miss the screams...
This is on a first come, first serve basis. Below is a list of everything I have, simply pick what you want and ask. If two or more people want one costume, you'll have to roll the die and let Fate decide. Sometimes Fate can be quite devious...

Let Halloween Week Begin!
Only seven days left until the night of ghoulish mischief; how will you be celebrating your evening?
Here's what the staff of Potions Class have cooked up for the members:
Find the Picture -If you are one of the first five to pm the correct location of the Halloween Severus Snape picture, you'll win an October Thank You Letter!-
Avatar Costume Contest -Dress up your avatar in a creative costume, it doesn't have to be fancy! There are several categories such as scariest and silliest, so everyone has a chance!-
Halloween Feast -On October 26th, the Grand Ballroom will open its doors to all members of the Potions Class guild. It will remain open until the night of October 29th, when we will have our feast.-

Halloween Fun and GamesFind the Picture
Name something that's like a scavenger hunt, but without as many components! Give up? A Find the Picture contest! Whee!
The first five people who correctly state where the picture is located will each receive an October Thank You Letter given to the account of their choice. As more time goes by, more clues will be given as to the picture's true location. If you haven't found it yet, don't give up! If you don't receive a Thank You letter, you just might receive a different goodie. ;)
Here's the picture followed by the first clue: Clue #1--
An antonym for stingy.
Clue #2--
The picture lies in a user lookup. The screen name of the guy is "The " followed by three letters.
Clue #3--
He is a royal ambassador to an obscure peoples.Number of People who found it: 0Costume Contest
Here's a fun mini-game for everyone to enjoy and get into the spirit. All you have to do is dress up your avatar in any costume of your choice, it's that easy! There are several categories (listed below) for people to win in, so that means several chances for prizes. Whoohoo!
The prizes for this contest will be 500g for the winner of each category. That's a nice pile of pocket-gold to jingle in your pocket, eh? As for the categories, it will be the same as the portrait contest- you choose the original category, but if someone else wins it, then your avatar gets bumped to a different category so you have more chances to win! Our Halloween 2k7 Guild Feast The doors to our ballroom will open sometime on the evening of Friday, October 26th. Feel free to gather and discuss topics on Halloween, and, of course, our honored professor, Severus Snape. Some topics you may want to share are different tricks to pull on your annoying neighbors, how to get dried egg off the window pane, and what the best tactics are to scare and snatch. (Scare and snatch is when you frighten smaller children and grab their bags).
The actual feast will be held the evening of Monday, October 29th. During this time, live entertainment, yummy foods, and barrels and barrels of candy will be set out for your enjoyment. Sometime during the feast and ball, the winners of the costume contest will be announced. Don't fret if you can't make it to the feast- if you win a prize but aren't there to accept it, you'll still receive it! biggrin
The Grand Ballroom shall remain open throughout Halloween, and will close on the day after. Feel free to frolick around until then! Merry Spookables Day!

Totally sweet, right? ^_^; I'm sorry I forgot! I had put it on the calender last Thursday or Friday thinking I'd have all weekend. I could have, but it totally slipped my mind! I wanted to be able to get you costumes before October started, that way you'd have costumes to wear all month for your avatars. biggrin
I hope you like it! Oh! And Thaddeus Mozart is really just like an NPC kinda deal. He's going to be the one dressing up and hosting some of the holiday events. ^__^

Phew! I've been a busy little bee, tonight. I've been working on this for about two and a half hours, not including drawing and coloring the pictures and uploading them. *Dies*
But, it's all done and it all looks decent! Hooray! biggrin As usual, let me know your thoughts and whatnot. A HUGE thanks to everyone who helped with the ideas for all of our events. I didn't come up with them alone, and I give credit to everyone in my crew. biggrin
