i used to be the girl, afraid to feel anything. afraid to get hurt. afraid to fall in love. afraid to understand the concepts. it used to me who never gets the signs, or feels their heart race. and no one used to make me cry. all these people tell me everyday how i'm the strongest person they've ever known in their entire lives. and nothing can bring me down, or break me. not any one person can pick me apart completely. but here i am, broken. and youd think that meant a bad thing, me being broken in all, but in all sense, i mean, broken. broken of my habit. you know, ive always told you how much i write, and how much it means to me, but this, this isnt writing anymore. it's like ive taken it to a different level.
this is my gate way, my resivor. my way of figuring myself out. and here's another reason to give up all hope. another dissapointment to add to the list. another instance where the only rational solution is to break down and cry every night just to fall asleep. no more. the sun rises with a purpose, a meaning it's scorching flames represent light, a new day, hope. may my weaknesses make me a stronger person. how cliche this simple line, yet so meaningful. i'm tired of being let down, and left picking up the pieces of my heart. it's time to toss everything i've ever known aside and make way for the light of change. the sun has risen, opportunity is abroad. i don't know what i'm in for. but may it make me the happiest person.
