cough cough whats with all the dust here in the guild....
anyways for those still popping into the guild now and then, I would like to turn your attention to Youtube with a search for Magi-Nation and there's a 3 part vid of the Cartoon... incase you didn't know...

Well, since I failed to even try to remember when it premiered, I guess I'll at least watch the first part of this, just to see how bad it most likely was. I'm such an optimist. xd
As for the dust, I come here a lot, but I'm just not much of a conversation starter. sweatdrop

Okay, it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought, but it definately could have been much better.
And "the opening is kinda sucky", was an extreme understatement.

Though there are a few things that make me cringe.
- Yelling out a phrase to summon
- The opening
- Agram
And a few things that are kind of stupid.
- Using pure animite to summon.
- Two misc. completely forgettable magi sealing Agram in the core.
- Orwin's appearance.

Did you notice that Orwin said Evu get me the Book of Ages and then after the cut scene of a battle he was talking to someone that looks like Gia?
I would take a flying leap to say that Man that seals Agram is are Orwin(looks more like Eidon) charactor (plus he had the book) And that the lady might be this Gia(made Evu.girl) charactor... that or Orwin is there child and was given the book to keep safe and Gia is his Mom... who knows they could change everything now that the original art isn't used.

I think that the series is just starting and we should give it time to develop. We have to remember that is not the same people we are used to.
I guess they wanted to the storyline so the new tcg could go along the with the animation.
One question thou:
Is Chur male or female?

Well I think the new show if already developed, just wish it was done years ago. Would of given MND a chance against Pokemon and Yugioh

Watched an episode first time this morning.
xD I enjoyed myself. There are alot of stuff that didn't match up, of course... But I liked it. D; Even though I'm too old to be watching it.

Duskalts Watched an episode first time this morning. xD I enjoyed myself. There are alot of stuff that didn't match up, of course... But I liked it. D; Even though I'm too old to be watching it. Ditto. I flinched when I saw the boat scene, played like some hackneyed cliche plot device, but overall, it could have been much worse. Korg and ZeD(?!) seemed off, now Zed's a dummy too, that ain't right! But I'll keep watching it. Just wish I would have heard when it was starting, rather than only finding out last night.

Now that they finally have the show, they need to re-release the card game soon! My cards are all getting dusty in a box in the corner of my room from inactivity...

I asked my friend at the Colliseum of Comics, and he said once the show kicks off and gets ratings, the card game will come out right after.
D; Sacrifice half an hour and watch it? Please? ;-; I need the game. I need to spend my money on these cards.
I'm just hoping some of the old artists come back. And they don't change the basic structure.
Oh, who am I kidding? So much could go wrong. @_@ But I don't care, I just want to play again.

If I had to wager a guess, I'd imagine the new game's earliest peek would be at Gencon 2008, it'd be logical.
As to the cartoon, it's more or less a miss-mash of things that have already been ran into the ground, but at least they waited until there was a crop of new viewers who haven't already been bored to tears by them. It could turn out to be something solid, but somehow, I doubt it.
As to the dust, I know I'm not helping that much >.> <.< I'll try to be around more often.
